Willowkit's paws scratch the floor as she remembers how she was killed:
She was playing with a ball of moss with Ivykit, when she smelled a weird scent. Then the whole of ShadowClan came right into the RiverClan camp. She dashed into the nursery to hide when she felt claws raking down her back, dragging her out. She tried to yowl, to escape, but no, nothing. She saw Blackfoot's yellow teeth grinning at her as he snareled at her. "Half Clan cats are foxdung." he growled. Then he leaped on her throat, and Willowkit felt claws sinking in her stomach.
Willowkit trembled and then a picture of her medicine cat appeared over her. The memory wasn't over:
Willowkit's eyes were clouded and she could see a blur of her medicine cat, Mudfur, and her sister and mother. "Her pelt red as a strawberry. There's nothing we can do to save her." Then the world turned black.
Willowflght wailed out again.
