Acornpaw smiled weakly. "Echoflight?" she croaked. "Why... why did Feverchill attack me? Did I do something wrong?" Her thoughts wandered. She preyed she didn't go to StarClan, not yet. Deep down she knew she would survive. She shook violently. Her wound was numb, and Acornpaw hope it would stay that way. Acornpaw hoped Echoflight was right.

OOC: Sorry for the short post. XD

<blockquote>Gorsefang laughed half-heartedly. "Of course we'll sheathe our claws!" If the cats in power found out why they'd been scratched, it could mean trouble. Gorsefang's plan had started to unfold. He would train these cats, eventually urging them to unsheathe their claws. When the wounds were too deep, he would, in proper wording, get them to take out their thoughts on kittypets and loners. They would eventually forget, their dark sides would comsume them. It was foolproof. "So, should we start this time tomorrow?" Gorsefang inquired.</blockquote>

Acornpaw gazed up at the medicine cat, her eyes glazed with pain. "Ow," she whimpered quietly. Her gaze was blurred, and her tail was twitching. She stared at her white paws- no, bloodstained paws. Was she going to die, barely an apprentice? The loss of blood was hard on her. She was so dizzy, she could barely tell up from down. Suddenly, she heard a high, agonized wail. It was coming from her. "Am I going to die? I'm going to die!," she was screeching. Acornpaw winced, everycat in the Clan was bound to hear her.

Acornpaw was breathing shallowly. Her breath came in short gasps. The sticky blood had stopped pouring from her wound; that made her feel much better. She felt famished. Her heart was still racing, but the dizzyness was beginning to lift.
OOC: Short post ><

<blockquote>Gorsefang thought briefly. Meeting often in the camp would be stupid, too obvious to his Clanmates. Perhaps they could meet somewhere in ThunderClan territory. They needed a spot where there would be no apprentices training, no cats hunting. "Perhaps snakerocks? Apprentices try to hunt there, but because of the adders, its rare," Gorsefang suggested. The huge tom decided he would play nice and not show his full bloodlust side until later on.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Acornpaw smiled sadly. Her wound was feeling better already, and her vision was clear. "Its probably because I'm different from the other apprentices. My eyes..." Acornpaw didn't want to continue, and broke into a sob. "No-nobody li-likes me," she cried, voice dripping with sorrow. Why me, she thought angrily. She tried to get to her paws. Acornpaw got to her feet and staggered a bit, but collapsed. She let out a mewl of pain as she hit the ground.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Acornpaw sniffed, and her tears dried. She leaned on Moonlightring, and stuck out her tongue. Snowflakes landed on it, and turned to tiny water droplets. The sky was dark, but as Acornpaw gazed skyward, she saw thousands of tiny white dots, twirling to the earth. How beautiful, she thought. They seemed wieghtless. From now on, Acornpaw vowed, I will never let anycat get to me again. When she found Feverchill, she would teach him that different cats could be the best with their claws. </blockquote>

I'll be leaving for a while, but only a few days. My computer is going in for maintence. Last time, we sent it in on Saturday, and they said they would return it on Tuesday. Well, they returned it on the following Saturday! It was terrible. So, I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. See ya then!

<blockquote>"I'm twelve moons," came Acornpaw's reply. She had seen the snow lots of times, but every time it fasinated her. When the apprentice looked closely at the flakes, she could see the detail in them. How amazing! Acornpaw could hardly believe the soft powder was frozen water. "Where does it come from?" she thought out loud.</blockquote>

Kit's Name: Argote
Kit's Gender: She-cat
Personality: Argote does not like to be controlled. She is quite independant, and is a natural born leader. She is fierce and has a hot temper, any any cat challanging her opinion will get their ears claws. Argote is a talented fighter in battle, but often doesn't take the time to think about stratagies. The she-cat is nimble and swift, and opens her heart up to few.
Pelt Markings: Gorgeous shorthaired seal tabby point with round blue eyes. She seems angelic, but is acually quite fiery.
Short RP Sample: (Argote's an adult here okay?) The she-cat halted abruply, bright blue eyes wide. Argote slowly lifted a chocolate tabby paw and pulled herself forward, merely a thin shadow in the heavy undergrowth. She blinked her pretty blue eyes, and realized the gray thrush hadn't flown. It sat perched, contentedly facing away from her, in a low branch of a prickly spruce tree. This would be quite the tricky catch. Argote narrowed her azure orbs and quickly stalked forward, soundless. Without warning, another rustle in the bushes alerted the thrush. This was her only chance. Argote leaped in determination, and like a missile, soared through space. Her claws met soft, downy feathers and she tumbled clumsily to the ground. Swiftly, Argote clamped her jaws down the the bird's frail neck, and snapped it.

<blockquote>The large, muscular tabby tom kept his head braced against the wind. It blew ferociously, howling loudly in the black of night. Large snowflakes were pelting the tom, but he continued to push forward. His pawsteps had vanished behind him, and Gorsefang could not see fox legths ahead. The trees were leaning in the blizzard, and Gorsefang was relieved when his paws met stone. The snakerocks.
Freezing, Gorsefang shuffled around in the snow. With a surprised hiss, his paw collapsed into a hole. Gorsefang moved the snow with his paws and nose, and discovered an old badger set. He sniffed warily, and the scent of badger was faint. Reluctantly, the tom dove into the hole, and turned so he was facing out. Snow wasn't falling in, and it was cozy and warm. Here, Gorsefang would wait for his followers. The tabby shook his pelt and stared at the snowglobe outside.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Acornpaw padded stiffly out of the medicine cat's den. She blinked her red eyes, and attempted to stretch. The healing wound on her side was burning, however. The pretty apprentice gazed along the camp, and snow was falling lightly. With effot, she picked her way over to Lionspirit and Cinderkit. She noticed Whitesoul was there too. Acornpaw realized that her calico pelt must stick out like a black cat in a snowstorm.

Acornpaw finally reached Lionspirit. She was determined to make some friends, after Feverchill had viciously attacked her. The apprentice flopped down beside the warrior. "Hi," she mewed, her voice polite but also warm and friendly. She noticed Cinderkit attacking the snow. "Try this," she called, ans stuck out her tongue. A delicate flake landed, and almost instantly melted. "Mmm, id dasdes ike ater," Acornpaw babbled, her tongue still out. The apprentice giggled.</blockquote>
