>Yeah, I guess... it's beyond me how you can always get Kiku so perfect X3
Arthur nodded, taking a deep breath and steadying himself. He had to stay strong, as much for his men as for himself. "... Thanks Mo."

Arthur nodded, taking a deep breath and steadying himself. He had to stay strong, as much for his men as for himself. "... Thanks Mo."
>you're welcome :3 maybe it's not the most 'canon' way of playing him, but I think it fits the setting and his specific past very well... idk I'm a weirdo lol
Arthur looked up, "I know..." he said with a small sigh. "I just... It's silly after everything that's happened, but... I can't stand the idea of going back to my room without him there, trying to sleep without him beside me..." he broke off with another small sigh. "I think I'll just stay out here tonight, hold a vigil for everyone we've lost..."
>mehh, I'm so tired, I'll probably be going to bed soon...
>Sorry about the delay... forgot I had band practice today D:
Arthur gave him a sad little smile and softly stroked his fur, "You okay there, Tama?"
>I... dunno what to write :/
"The fighting hurt all of us, huh?" he commented, pulling the little cat into his lap.
>lol that's a perfect way to say it :3
Uhhhh, sure idk I need to summon my muse again... DUMBLEDORA THE EXPLORA!!! ...it didn't work DX
>Okay~
England looked up, his stomach growling loudly at the smell of food. He yawned, smiling to himself as he realized Tama was perched upon his head. "Time to get up..." he murmured, reaching up to pet the cat.
"Ready for breakfast?" he asked, getting to his feet and stretching, careful not to accidentally dislodge Tama from his shoulder. He found it relaxing to talk to the cat, who always seemed to know exactly what Arthur meant, even if he couldn't talk back.
"Alright, then..." Arthur yawned once more, before heading to the eating area. He arrived fairly quickly and was glad to see that several other people were already awake.
"Morning." Arthur greeted, sitting down beside Mo. "Are you doing alright?" he asked, gesturing to his eye. He felt bad that he hadn't thought to ask before, but, better late than never, he supposed.
"I... I'll be okay." Arthur replied, trying to smile reassuringly, but not quite succeeding.
>oh muse, where fore art thou? I can't seem to write more than a sentence or two now....
>I love that song :3 It was on my profile for a long time~
"Hmm..?" Arthur shuffled through the sketch and papers, looking over everything closely. When he was done, he nodded and looked up with a gleam in his eye. "Brilliant, lads. This just might work... We'll need to dock in port, get some supplies, maybe hire some assistants to help out with the building. We can form an attack plan while construction is under way... That d*amned Frenchman won't know what hit him."
Arthur chuckled, "It's a good idea, though. We'll need to get back in practice. After so long at peace, we're all a little rusty." He paused to take a few bites of his food, which had sat untouched since the discussion began. "As for new crew members, we'll have to set up some form of recruitment process. We can't just take any landlubber with big dreams of riches, but nothing to show for it." he commented.
> I KNOW RIGHT X3
>fine by me :3 (you've got me humming it now~)
Arthur grinned as the last of the preparations were completed. They were finally ready. It had been so long, almost an entire year had passed, but his determination, his entire crew's determination, had never wavered. And soon all their hard work would pay off. They were within only days of catching up to France's ship, and this time they wouldn't lose.
>Aww, poor Kiku D:
Arthur sat on a bench on the deck, watching the sword practice and occasionally giving tips to some of the less experienced fighters. He had to keep somewhat busy, or he began to feel uneasy. With their attack on France's ship suddenly so close, his emotions had become jumbled... he didn't know how to feel. There was nervousness, sure, and worry too, but he knew he could overcome those. No, it was the excitement and hope he couldn't take. He would get to see Kiku again... But, after such a long time, there were no certainties. He knew that hope could just as easily be crushed. It had been a year, and, on pirate ships especially, prisoners rarely lasted that long. Disease, torture, starvation... All of them slow, painful killers. Even if Kiku was still alive, he might never be the same. And yet, Arthur couldn't quite stop hoping, wishing for what had been to once more become reality...
>I tried to type more to revive my muse, but I just ended up with random emotion delving... mehhhhhhh
>Sure, I'm good with it~ Would it be another night ambush??
>'Kay :3 Uhhh, here's some sort of start?
Arthur signaled silently to his crew, giving the command to board the ship they'd finally come alongside. It was the dead of night, the sky covered in thick clouds that blocked out all fragments of light from the moon and stars. The only visible light resonated from a few lanterns carried by his crewmembers. Everything was quiet, even as they began using ropes to board the enemy vessel. The maneuver had become silent from weeks of practice, and not even the clinking of blades could penetrate that practiced silence.
As the last of the crew boarded the French ship, Arthur followed behind them, arriving with the same quiet stealth of his comrades. He cast a quick cursory glance around the ship, making sure everyone was in position. From here, the plan would go into action.
They were to split into three groups, one for each level of the vessel. Going as long as they could without detection, they would take out as many enemies as possible, securing the ship floor by floor. They'd purposely brought shorter blades for the very purpose of fighting within the halls; longer French-crafted weapons would be virtually useless under such tight conditions.
>I hope this plan is okay, I know nothing about battle plans, so....
:3
Arthur followed Mo's example, cautious of any unseen lookouts. If any of the enemy were to glimpse them and raise the alarm, their plan would falter. Luckily, everything seemed to be clear. There was no sign of wakefulness in the ship beyond themselves, and they headed seamlessly to their assigned level, the bottom floor.
Umm, hey~ May I take France :3 (heheh it should be fun to have him as Tamaki ^^)
