Snowflight purred in amusement. "We could follow it scent. Then we can see if it's still on our territory."

"Well, come on then" Snowflight purred and led her apprentice out of the camp again. She went to the dead badger and stopped before it. "Can you find the wolf scent again?" she asked.

Snowflight sniffed too. "Very good" she told Lilypaw. She led her to the gorge. 'The wolf must be on our territory. It can't spring over the gorge' she thought

As they came to the gorge Snowflight sniffed. The wolf-scent was more stronger here. 'It must came here not long ago' she worried. She looked into the gorge. There were just some sharp cliffs and the rushing water.

"It must have changed the direction" Snowflight thought loud. "It could went to Fourtrees or to the twoleg-place" She smiled. "Both is good for us"

"Ok, we'll go to Fourtrees, search for any wolf-scent and go back to camp. We need to eat and rest. It was a long day" Snowflight sighed.

Snowflight walked around and sat down near some cats to listen to them

"Ok.....Good night" Snowflight called after her.

Snowflight went to join Talea. "Hello" she meowed.

"It's a little bit boring today, isn't it?" Snowflight asked.

Snowflight went throught the forest. She had been at Fourtrees and scented cats and squirrels. She stalked, ears priced, in the direction where the scent came from.

Suddenly an acorn fell hard on her head. She turned around and saw a squirrel, sitting up in a tree and laughing.

"Hey stop laughing you piece of fresh-kill" Snowflight spat angrily. To her surprise the squirrel came down to her. "I'm oak" the squirrel said. Snowflight took a step forward but it doesn't even flinch away.

Snowflight grumbled dangerously but oak stayes where she was. "I'm not afraid of you, warrior" she said, the word 'warrior' she snarled scornfully. "Really, you should have" Snowflight spat and sprang toward oak.

But before Snowflight could reach oak, the squirrel took a leap to the site and let out a high squick.

Suddenly there were squirrels everywhere. They squicked and waited for the signal to attack. 'Theese are not the tiny things on the freshkill-piles' Snowflight thought furiosly.

"The cats of the forest will not hunt us anymore" Oak hissed. "Now we're taking over the forest and destroy every warrior"

"Never" Snowflight spat "Squirrels are prey and they always will be"

"Well, you will be the first cat that will die" Oak said "Attack!"

Two squirrels sprang at Snowflight. Quickly she killed them both. "Oak!" she yowled. "Maybe I'm going to be dead after that fight but many squirrels will be dead before that"
