So, white spotting. Different than complete white and Albinos, white spotting is quite common in cats.

Represented by "S", it is a dominant gene; (SS) and (Ss) both will have some degree of white spotting, and (ss) represents no spotting at all. However, whether the feline is Heterozygous or Homozygous in regards to this allele indicates how much white spotting the offspring will have.

SS (homozygous white spotting) - this creates offspring with more than 50% of white spotting, commonly referred to as "Van". Technically speaking, you could also have them entirely white, making them just one giant white spot.

Ss (heterozygous white spotting) - this is 50% or less white, and can be spotted in basically any position on the feline: paws, chest, belly, sides, tail, etc. the can also have just a small smidgen of their body white, like a single paw.

ss (homozygous recessive white spotting) - no white spotting at all.

Some important things to remember about white cats and the genetics involved;
Cats who do not have any white spotting whatsoever cannot (usually -- very rare cases exempted) have blue eyes. Cats with white, then, can have blue eyes. When doing genetics on WCRPG, it's important to note these things (when relevant) so that people who aren't genetics-savvy know when making a kit for an adoption, etc.

So when geneticists do litters with white, we usually put something like the following underneath the possible offspring colors.

Kits without white can have any realistic eye color except blue.
Kittens with white can have any realistic eye color including blue.

I've enrolled in a community college for a concurrent college class or two, and I will be also getting a part-time job sometime soon as well. Actually, Maisey, they're called Ocilittles.

Ocicats are something different, according to the Messybeast cat resource site:

"Ocicats, sometimes misspelled as "Ocecats", are not hybrids between ocelots and domestic cats. They are a cross between Abyssinians, Siamese and domestic shorthair cats and do not contain wildcat blood. Its name comes from its resemblance to the ocelot and does not indicate ocelot ancestry."

But yeah, ocilittles would look similar to the pic shown, I believe.

nice idea! I could also help, although I'm currently dealing with some stupid school stuff right now.

The program (Office 365 Home) I need for my upcoming class refuses to run on the desktop computer because we've got XP instead of Windows 7 or 8. So now I have to get a laptop because my parents don't think it's worth updating our current operating system. This laptop is the only decent one in my price range. But stupid Best Buy doesn't show whether they have it in stock or even if they have a demo model at any stores nearby. It's very frustrating and annoying.

Yeah, I'm gonna get that kind of laptop, but I just found one that actually has a cd/DVD drive thingy for the same price. It says it's "coming soon" though, so I'm going to call the store tomorrow, as it's late and I need to get up fairly early tomorrow morning.

It'll be nice to have my own computer, especially one I can take with me where I need to go.

the small kit shadowed inside the remains of a hollow log watched the small gathering of clanmates. [i]yet another joining. she thought, making sure to keep those thoughts to herself. the only curious thing was what the other kitten had said. he can see spirits? are those like the ghosts I see?, pianokit continued musing, accidentally broadcasting her thoughts to anyone within range. not sure what to think, pia stayed hidden. this meant there were others with powers such as her own. she feared her powers. so should she fear this other kit? he looked okay from a distance, but who knew what he was really like?
