Goldenstar woke in a dark, dense forest. The moon's light couldn't be seen because of the dead trees surrounding her. She felt alone, until she saw a dim light creeping toward her. Bigger, bigger it got. Until it was seizing the darkness. Goldenstar perused the vicinity, then she saw Blazestorm, her one love who was killed defending her from evil. "Blazestorm!" she called. They ran up to each other and rubbed against each other. "He looked at her with the blue eyes that won her over. "Goldenstar, something is happening. The shadows are rising, the shadows must fall. The shadows will come to rule you all. You must stop this threat before it's rise, or else you will meet your future Clan's demise..." Goldenstar stared. "A prophecy?" she whispered. Blazestorm nodded. "I don't know anymore, but my task is now complete. Farewell my love." He vanished into the night as Goldenstar awoke. Rainstar was sleeping like a mouse. She didn't know if Rainstar heard her violent thrashing. Oh well. She went back to sleep.

Goldenstar looked up. "What's wrong?"

For some reason Goldenstar knew exactly what she was talking about."You to?"

Goldenstar looked down. Then whispered. "Did you hear the prophecy?"

Goldenstar looked at Flametail with shock. "So, you're not mad? Or anything?"

"The shadows are rising, the shadows must fall. The shadows will come to rule you all. You must stop this threat before its rise, or else you meet your future Clan's demise...."

Goldenstar shrugged. "Not as far as I know. But, maybe."

"Oh, shut up!"

Goldenfire looked up,her eyes sparkling "Blazestorm."

Goldenstar purred. "I'll check with our medicine cat!"

"So, is this, goodbye for now?" Goldenstar asked, her eyes sparkling.

Goldestar's eyes widened "What, but my Clan...."

Goldenstar turned toward her camp. "Ok, if you say so. I trust you."

"Oh yeah, the accident, that's why..."

Seeing Rainstar's face, Goldenstar withdrew her comment. " I mean uh, never mind."

(True...... ok, um ,let's be creative with this...)

Hearing this, Goldenfire stepped back slowly. Snap! "Dang it, stupid stick"

Silence was her answer, until she found her words. "Who wouldn't have fear at tgis time, but we must be brave."

Fire looked up. "Ok, let's go."

Staying low, Goldenfire darted in the other direction.
