Z's eyebrows raised "I don't think that.why would you say that?"the female asked looking a bit surprised.warp looked sympathetic

the serpent's eyes narrowed at Travis as she tilted her head in confusion."not human?"she questioned him,obviously confused by him talking about humans in the third person.she understood what he meant by destructive humans,they came to her land a long time ago and build their villages there,she chased them from her territory time and time again for their destruction. To her there was nothing different this time.

Warp chuckled,a deep and rumbling noise from the normal silence of the creature she was.she looked back at him with seemingly sightless eyes and she almost seemed to be smiling;jake was entertaining in how he kept thinking she'd bring this down on both of them. She then turned back and went to digging,occasionally turning if she sensed it was getting to weak in one direction.

Rora seemed surprised by his form,sure she knew he wasn't human but she hadn't expected travis's kind to look like this. She didn't judge though,she had no room to being what she was.

The serpent's frills fluttered at his appearance and she seemed moe convinced now and more willing to hear what he was saying though she didn't fully understand all of it with how rusty her english was. "On the island?"she asked him,now seeming a bit concerned.

Warp reacted in a flash,wrapping her long tail around jake and yanking him back so he was beside her before whipping around and slamming her claws into the ceiling,digging in and ripping stone down. Not even a second later a chain reaction started that brought the entire tunnel behind them down on the creature;to this Warp sneezed at the dust and made sure jake was ok before going back to digging in the dimly lit tunnel remains like she didn't just rebury a giant tunnel serpent.

The serpent rumbled in a low growl,making the water ripple slightly,this parasite was coming to her island."What do we do?"she asked,obviously not happy with the thought of these destroyers in her home.

Warp rumbled with a growl at Jake's statement about her being crazy,*oh he'll see how crazy i am.*she thought as she shifted back and leapt in front of him,using her tail to swipe the snakes back and grab jake. "Crazy huh?" The shifter said before she bodyslammed the wall she'd been digging at and it cracked and crumbled revealing a large cave beyond it.her glowing pupils fell on Jake for a moment before smacking more snakes back in a quick motion.

The serpent drew closer,she moved to the edge and rested at the lake's bank. The female's tail twisted thoughtfully as she thought over the possibilities; her abyssal eyes gave nothing away afterall she had much weighing on her mind with what she had to lose if she were to get hurt.

Rora frowned "If we don't band together we won't stand a chance...none of us will."the old shifter pointed out to the other female with a rumble, "I have no doubt they'll hunt us down in our homes if we don't do anything." She said with an intense look on her face,images of what they'd done to Luna flashed in her mind and caused her branch-like spines along her back to raise and rattle.

Warp acted fast "Come on,we've gotta get out of here!"She said,bolting through the opening a few steps,forgetting about jake's leg injury until she looked back. "For fucks-"she grumbled and turned around,shifting into a huge wolf like creature and bolted back at him with her huge jaws open which looked terrifying until she grabbed the back of his jacket and ran back out in a bumpy escape

Travis's words seemed to have an effect on the serpent as she now growled softly at the thought,her snout wrinkling."Do you have plan?"she asked Travis seriously. She had a home to protect...children to protect,she wanted to know it wouldn't be a suicide mission.

Warp's eyes narrowed at the golem at first when it blocked them off,ready to shift and destroy the dense creature until the male spoke out. Her ears perked,unable to speak with a mouthful of jake's jacket. She stayed where she was and watched the man as he approached with a cautious look on her furry face as she put jake down between her massive paws,ready to grab her injured friend or protect him if something went wrong. "You'd be correct"she said,her larger form making her voice rough and growly. Her eyes flickered black as she tried to read the other male's heart."is cujo over there yours?"she asked with a slight joking tone despite her cautious feel.

The serpent still seemed to be riled up but she now also seemed to be considering something. She didn't speak for a long while,pulling her head away to look up at the top of the distant volcano. As she dit two more pairs of eyes,sapphire and green, and fins rose above the water slightly as two of the younger serpents poked their snouts out of the water to check out what was happening."I know some others."The female said "they come to lake sometimes. Hostile to humans."she told travis after a while.

Warp's eyes glanced between the two with a strange look on her furry features befire they changed back,her demeanor seemed more on edge but it would only be noticeable to jake who'd been around her a little longer. "No,I'm not sure what even caused it,it came out of nowhere."she told the golemancer "anyway we'll just get out of your hair."she then said.

((oof it's been a long time huh? well *Cracks knuckles*))

The serpents' fins flicked as she considered his question."some might.I not know about all."she told him frankly with a thoughtful rumble before lifting herself further out of the water to gesture with her snout."come from that way"the female told travis.

Warp stopped herself midmovement to look at the golemancer."Yeah,There's a crazy group out there now."she decided to tell the stranger,afterall they were all targets."they want to wipe supernatural creatures out."She grumbled grimly as se stood.

The serpent hissed and drew back at the sudden shift in tension around him,her frills flaring in alarm at the display. She didn't respond to Travis's question outright but he'd done enough to shake her. Even Rora,who'd seen some really crazy stuff happen around him rustled uncomfortably for a moment but she wasn't as speechless. The old shifter cleared her throat "I'm pretty sure whatever we face would be scared shitless by that display."she said frankly

Warp was silent for a moment but her anger was clear in how her claws dug into ground at Jake's question. "Many of them are fearful already...some are forced,i saw it in some of the glimpses i had of the building."Warp said before she grew quiet,a shudder ran through her and she shifted back to her normal form. Her battered shape showing from the soot marks on her face to the charred look of her boney spines and a bright angry red glowed from the crystal in her chest as her bones rattled "but there are a few that take sick pleasure,even revel in what they do and their days are numbered."she growled fiercely despite the weakness and hunger she felt that had forced her to shift back."They're mine."she said darkly.

the serpent took a moment to recollect herself from her shock before diving back under the water and re-emerging feet away and motioning for the two of them to follow.

Rora seemed reluctant to follow them as her gaze lifted towards the volcano the serpent had motioned to. She shuffled her wings and rustled her leaves before turning her attention to Travis."lead the way"she said.

Warp gave a nod at the golemancer's words"Just be careful. I don't know what all they can do."she informed him before turning her gaze towards Jake."i'll be fine"the shifter assured him as she noticed his concerned look."I'm just tired and want to get us out of this desert."the female grumbled,her boney spines rattling as she got up."you wouldn't happen to know if theres any towns nearby would you?"she asked the golemancer.

Rora rolled her eyes with a chuckle"That makes me feel so much better"the old shifter said sarcastically. As much as she didn't like the thought of going to a volcano she didn't have much other choice."If they weild lava you're on your own." She told Travis."because i will be useless."

Warp let out a relieved sigh"Good,hopefully we can lay low there and rest for a little while."The shifter said before growing quiet at Jake not responding. She sat up and waved a clawed hand infront of the male's face."Earth to Jake,come in."she said jokingly despite ger tone he was making her concerned.

"Not much is impressive to you"Rora chuckled as she padded beside him.

Warp went quiet at Jake being seemingly dismissive, her head tilting slightly in thought as the male turned away. Something was definitely going on with him;the shifter would bet her crystal on it. "Hold on..."She responded at the golemancer's last words and she turned her head up to the sky and scanned it. *what was it she'd said?* the shifter thought as she wracked her brain for what Z had told her. After as long period of silence she suddenly pointed at a star with a claw. "There. Thats the north star. So we should go,"The shifter stated before pointing the opposite direction of it"that way"she concluded with an internal feeling of relief that she'd remembered. However for a moment her relief was broken by sadness,blue flickered across her heart for a split second, nearly unnoticeable ,and if she could've frowned she would've.

Meanwhile Ein began to stir,a rumbling grumble coming from him as he stirred.

Warp was silent for a moment with her head tilted towards the stars,her skeletal face giving nothing away before she seemed to snap out of whatever she thought and shook herself. She turned and dropped to her paws"Yeah,We should get a move on before it gets light."She said,pausing to thank the golemancer for the directions before joining Jake.

The feathers on the back of Ein's neck rose and ruffled as he gazed at the scene around him. He struggled to sit up as quietly as he could,all of his senses on high alert.the large bird creature's eyes scanned the room,unsettled, before he attempted to get up.

Warp looked between jake and the desert in contemplation for a few moments. Sure she had things that could get them there in a flash but she knew she didn't have the energy to make it there in those forms."I can't do anything fancy or super fast right now but i can shift into something better than trying to walk there."the shifter said frankly before she took the form of a thoroughbred horse. Her fur retained some of her markings,the white splotches on the horse's face vaguely resembled a skull and some small white patches ran down her back."it's the best I've got right now."She said despite the change of form.

The large bird creature struggled to move in his current condition causing him to click occasionally in frustration. If he was attacked he knew he'd have trouble defending himself despite how quiet things seemed he was wary. Having been trained to deal with all sorts of cryptids and creatures he knew some things could camoflage. At the noise his attention fell on the terminal,a noise rumbling in his throat as he clumsily got up and moved to the desk to see what it said.

"You did good with the Jazelle,"Warp pointed out"that gazelle creature. its pretty much the same concept. Get on and hold on for dear life."The shifter said "I don't have enough in me to do much else than this without tempting fate."she told him frankly.

Ein read the terminal intently,he'd suspected the experiment had gone awry but he hadn't known it had set in that quick;he hoped Apin managed to get out safely. The large bird creature sighed and tred to move,again being hindered by how bandaged he was. He growled under his breath and clicked his beak in frustration "he did his best"he quietly reminded himself as he cut the bandage with a claw and reworked them so he could move unhindered yet still have his wounds covered. With that done he rose and moved out the door on all fours,ready for anything.

*well for one of us it is*Warp thought before they set off.(leaving that for a bit)

As Ein reached the fork in the hallways he paused as he looked to each path,becoming increasingly frustrated as he gazed between the two.*of course they had to be red and blue lights*the bird creature thought bitterly. His head swiveled as he heard the noises to the right of him and he turned to go down the left path,taking care not to tread in the black goo that made his stomach churn as he hurried down the hall.

Avarus had already put the evacuation into effect and, despite Luna's protests,had taken watch. He clung to two large and tall trees as he watched the horizon intently,he didn't know when their foe would make a move but he would stay up the whole night if he had to. His decayed ears flicked as he spotted what looked to be the start of smoke hours into his silent watch and a rumbling growl escaped him. He drew a deep breath and let out a cry,much like the one samantha had heard him use before but much louder and even more intimidating.The call was so loud that its bone-chilling echoes even reached the purists.

Ein slowed to a stop as he took in the scene in front of him,the corners of his beak drawing back slightly an an uneasy expression. It seemed the clone was dead but he couldn't be sure,his feathers ruffled in uneasiness before he decided the best course of action was go past it. He began running and leapt over the motionless figure,his back brushing the ceiling as he did.

No sooner than the founder had said this all of them were buffeted back by a blast of air as a large emerald shape sped past and slammed into the truck they were loading,rocking it as it left a huge dent in the trailer. The large drake screeched at them before taking off again and circling in the air above,having left clawmarks and the dent in its wake as it rose.

Ein slowed slightly,checking to see if there were any other paths he could take;finding none he cautiously moved forward,claws lightly ticking against tile through the goop.

The drake dodged their poorly aimed shots,snarling only once as a few bullets hit the membrane of its wings before it opened them to full length and blasted the members with a powerful gust of wind. The truck didn't get far before suddenly jolting to a stop the reason soon becoming apparent as extremely thick vines could be seen wrapped under it,attached to the axels and the flames seemed to grow lower. Amidst the chaos a slight uncharacteristic chill in the air became apparent.
