Zalmon waved them off.
"I can guarantee you that it will be fine. Now they'll have to get through me to get to the rest of the clan."

"Sylveon, when we start, Braixen could jump onto your ribbons and you could push her up into the air. And then, maybe... oh, I know!"
Serena remembered the winner of a somewhat recent showcase that had used fireworks in her performance.
"You could make fireworks by shooting a few Flamethrowers into the air. Pancham, you can hit them with your Dark Pulse and then launch a Stone Edge for Braixen to jump off of like in our last performance. Sylveon, while they're doing that, you can dance with me! Pancham, be sure to join us after Stone Edge... and that should be the first part of the performance!"
Her Pokémon cheered happily in agreement as Bonnie sleepily walked out of the tent in her pajamas.
"Hi Serena..."
"Hello Bonnie! We're about to try something for our performance!"
Bonnie was instantly awake.
"Ooh, can I watch, can I watch??"
Serena laughed.
"Sure!"
Her Pokémon got into position and the performance began. Braixen was in the air and Sylveon joined Serena as they began dancing. It reminded Serena of the dance. She was still upset that she didn't get to dance with Ash... she slightly blushed.
"Serena!!"
Bonnie's cry snapped her back into reality to see Braixen slipping off the edge of a Stone Edge and hitting the ground with a heart-wrenching thud. Both girls quickly ran to Braixen, followed by Serena's Pokémon.
Braixen was grabbing her leg tightly. Not a good sign. Bonnie and Serena helped the wounded fire-type stand up and walk to the table near where Clemont was making breakfast.
"I'll get a first aid kit!" Serena called out as she ran to their tent.
