"Th-thanks," she stammered, feeling him lightly touch her hand. Her heart was pounding. Why was this cute American boy paying so much attention to her? He could have at least five of the fake-boob-platinum-blonde girls hanging off him like necklaces by now, but instead, he chose to talk to her. The artery in her neck was pounding more forcefully against the outside layer of her skin, unnoticeable to anyone who didn't have heightened senses. The blood was rushing through her veins quickly, causing a fight-or-flight feeling in Adelaide's brain. She could only sit there and stare at him. Then something snapped in her brain. Focus, girl! You need to snap out of it, NOW! She blinked a couple of times, her pulse still beating pretty quickly and forcefully.

"Oh." She said quietly, staring at him. SNAP OUT OF IT! The bell rang. She got up, grabbing her car keys. She left, going to her next class.

Rose walked in. She was young, only 20, but she had gotten hired as the band's new assistant the night before, after the old one had quit. She wore a casual outfit, light blue jean short-shorts and a red tube top. She had a clipboard. She watched the boys get interviewed.

She watched the boys singing and dancing around on the stage, having fun. She watched _______(what's your charrie's name), sighing. She had always thought he was cute, and now she was constantly in close proximaty to him.

Jade walked into her small kitchen, pouri herself a cup of coffee. Her grandmother had loved here before her, and had been very old. As she was very old, she had gotten an apartment almost at the too of the Pit, where the apartments were slightly larger and lighter than the ones at the bottom. Jade had inherited it, and had quickly gotten rid of the old furniture, carpet, and wall paper, turning it into the perfect flat for a party. She pulled a basic black tube dress over her head, which highlighted her tattoos: a rune for fearlessness on her right shoulder blade, a large Dauntless symbol with the other five factions around it, slightly smaller, on her left shoulder blade, and a jade ring like the one she was putting on now on her non marriage ring finger. She out on the real ring, which completely covered her tattoo of it. She opened the door, and ran down the slope into the pit. She was hoping Uriah would see her, but she wasn't sure he was even up yet.

"Oh, that's right. We have the same class schedule," she said. "Ok, let's go...." She took her usual path, but it was blocked off. "Huh. The ceiling is being redone." She turned around, heading down a dark hallway. "Hold on. I can't believe I've never gone this way," she said, turning away from him and holding up a map to study. Everyone else was in class by now.

Adelaide screamed, then the screams gave way to whimpers of pleasure. Vampires had hormones in their saliva to make any human they fed on but didn't kill completely loyal to them. Her eyes half-closed, she smiled hazily, draping herself against him so he could feed easier. Klaus' smother came down the hallway, and stopped. "Klaus!" She said frantically, pulling him away from Adelaide, still smiling, she crumpled to the floor. "I was bringing you your lunch, but I see you already had some." She knelt and picked up the girl. "You have to leave. I have to leave. She will have to leave."

She nodded. "We are going back. We can try again in 100 years, when these children's' grandchildren are old and dying. And we are going to have to take her with us. Your father and I WERE going to present you with a prettier slave, blonde hair and blue eyes, with O negative blood- you know how rare they are- for your 1,800 birthday tomorrow, but I guess she will have to do now. Come. Your father will deal with you." She ran at supernatural speed back to their castle, where the servants were packing their furniture into many trucks. She laid the girl in a large cage, about ten feet by ten feet, and put band of gold, which had rubies and diamonds on it, on her neck. It was magically linked to a ring that Klaus had, and he could summon her whenever he wished now. She started to stir. "Klaus.........?" She murmured, holding her hands out like a small child.

Adelaide (I'll just call her Adel from now on) smiled sleepily, and fell asleep.

Adel opened her eyes sleepily, reaching again for Klaus. She was weak as a newborn kitten, and wasn't able to walk straight. She had already almost tumbled off a cliff.

She sat up, taking the cup obediently. His venom was still in her system. She giggled, drinking the while thing, and looping her arms around his shoulders. "Anything else you want to do to
Me?" She asked, smiling. Like him de was now wearing late 1700s clothing - a revealingly short blue dress, with a neckline that dipped down to show off her cleavage. She turned as the door opened.
