Pearl suddenly found herself alone at the bar. She sighed. No matter what, you'll always eventually end up alone, her sire's voice said in her head. She pushed the thought away, and looked around. Despite the amount of people in the club, the only one sitting at the bar other than her was Connor.

She started slightly, and looked at him. "It's a very good party. Reminds me of the parties in the 20s." She took a sip of her eighth beer, feeling slightly dizzy. Even as a vampire, with higher tolerances, she could still be considered a lightweight when compared to other vampires. "No, I haven't had the delight of meeting her majesty," she said, "and I think it's better saved for another day." She started getting off her stool, and she stumbled, catching herself on the bar. "D*mn," she said. "I drank too much again." She stood up, swaying slightly. "I should get home."

She thought, the alcohol fogging her brain a bit. "As long as you don't kill me, I guess it's okay........" She noticed his sigh. "But you probably weren't done here..... If you want you can call Nick, we live in the same building......"

"Why? What's is so awful in those woods?" She asked. "And why does it matter when my dog- who I would have caught if you hadn't stopped me- is IN those woods?"

Yawning, Pearl opened the door. She had her long blonde hair up in a messy bun, and all her makeup was gone. She wore blue cotton shorts and a back tank top. Even just out of bed, she looked very pretty. "Hey," she said, yawning again. "I was gonna wait for you at the club, but I had a few too many drinks, and Connor offered to take me home. I figured we were both drunk so I could fight him off." She looked slightly sheepish. "Do you want to come in?" Her eyes asked him to say yes. She had never been good at hiding her emotions, even when it came to a poker face. She heard a cry, and a ripping sound (Connor). She shuddered ever so slightly, but didn't comment on it.

She looked down. "Francis isn't what I remember. He's.... More handsome and less kind than I remember." She wasn't worried about anyone seeing them. They were in a secluded corner of the castle grounds.

OOC: do you want to play Francis too?

"Thanks," she said, takin the glass of blood he held out. She downed it quickly, licking the few drops left on her lips away. "He was fine. He seemed almost haunted. I think he knows what you think of him." She had guessed why he was crying out. She had nightmares sometimes about the horrible things she had done as a vampire..... Connor had just seemed...... Less remorseful about his more heinous acts.

"I've never been to Court before," she said thoughtfully. She got up gracefully and glided over to the sink to rinse out the glass. "I guess it would be interesting." She looked at him hesitantly. "Would you be there?"

She tilted her head like a model in an expensive photo shoot. "I've never known about the Royals until a couple months ago. I doubt support from an outsider like myself is going to matter. But if you are going, and she needs support, I will go." She got up, and walked over to him. "So whose side are you on?"

Sure. How about right after he brings her dog back?
Mary headed for the Grand Staircase, where Bash and she arranged to meet when he found Stirling. Meanwhile, Diane stepped out of a nearby room, as walked over to stand behind him. "Take care, my brave son. Falling in love with her can mean your head."

As soon as it was nice and dark out, Pearl walked to the Court, where Scarlett and her Mother were. She walked in calmly, approaching Scarlett. A couple hybrids bristled, but she continued. "I'm here to say I've got your back, Scarlett," she said. She noticed Nick standing nearby. She smiled ever so slightly at him.

Pearl heard hybrids nearby. "Well, see you later," she said to Scarlett. She scooted out the door, and jumped on her pearly motorcycle. She had gotten the paint job was an unknown garage in an arrondissement in Paris. It looked exactly like a Pearl, changing colors depending on the light and where you were standing. She rode back to the Quarter, where she parked and dismounted. She walked in, and walked through the dining hall, grabbing a blood bag and biting it open. She headed for the stairs up to the balcony that lead to the hallway with her room on it.

Pearl turned, and smiled. Not a wide smile, her mother had raised her to temper her feelings, but it was a very happy smile. "I'd like that." She walked with him down to the gardens, hesitantly taking his arm. "I haven't gotten any assignments, no. Who would give them to me? Scarlett? The Queen?" Despite the fact that they were surrounded by sweet-smelling flowers, she still had a distinct, pleasant smell about her that was hard to pin down with a name.

"Don't think that I can't see it on your face. You have already fallen for her, and love makes us do things that we wouldn't normally do. You and your brother may be friends now, but if you steal his love, whether or not they seem to be in love now, you will find your neck resting on the guillotine." She heard Mary approaching, and quickly retreated back into the room she had come from. Mary rounded the corner, saw Bash standing with Sterling at his side, and smiled widely. "Sterling! You found him!" Sterling barked happily. "How did you manage to find him?" She said, looking up at him from her position on the floor with Sterling.

"I never would have been able to do that. Thank you," she said politely, appropriate for the court, but her smile was much too wide, and she was very happy. She took the leash that he handed to her. "Thank you again," she said, curtsying. She smiled at him and walked away from him, headed for her rooms. Diane stepped back out of the room where she had been listening in. "Take care, Sebastian. Unlike Francis' love for Mary, his love for you is not unconditional." She walked down the hall, the opposite direction Mary had gone, and entered her rooms.
