The morning sun seeped through the branches and pierced her eyes waking her up, Her eyes opened painfully as the sun warmed her fur, beside her she heard Shadow moan as she was waking up herself. Midnight got up stretched and shook her fur. She nudged Shadow with her nose"We need to go hunting" she barked and walked out of the den followed by Shadow. Midnight and Shadow made there way to the hole "Can you smell anything" She whispered I wish I was hunting deer but its more important to teach younger ones to not get into trouble with something that's to hard for them to manage. Shadow nodded "It's not prey but I do smell something It actually smells a bit like you" she barked Midnight smelled it to her hackles rose and she let out a snarl. Shadow leaped back words startled.
