Rapidtail, a cat from Windclan, hunted through the waving yellow grasses. She stalked a large, gray rabbit, but just as she was about to spring, the rabbit heard something and took off. Rapidtail cursed, turning around to see who had cost her freshkill for her clan.

Rapidtail sat high up on a tree branch, listening. she climbed down form the tree, and looked at Ceasar. "Hello," she meowed,"I'm Rapidtail."

Rapidtail looked up at the tom. He was white, and very muscular. "Who are you?" she demanded. "You don't smell like Windclan." She prepared to run and alert the clan of an intruder.

Rapidtail looked up at him. "Do you often try to scare Windclan she-cats?" she purred,"or do you scare all the clan's she-cats this way?"

Rapidtail smiled flirtily up at him. "Why, thank you," she purred."What's your name? Mine's Rapidtail."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, too," Rapidtail purred as her heart beat faster. "Would you care to share the rabbit with me?" She asked Brackenshadow, hoping he would say yes and stay a while.

She lay down on her side and ate a small piece of the fat, juicy rabbit. "So," purred Rapidtail,"any mate in Shadowclan for you? I've always wanted kits, but I've never felt anyone in windclan was right for me....."

Rapidtail slept in the grass, having fallen asleep waiting for brackenshadow.

"Hmmm?" Rapidtail opened her eyes. She purred, "Brackenshadow!" She padded up next to him and wrapped her tail around his.

Rapidtail purred in his ear. "What do you think of kits?"

"I'm willing," purred Rapidtail in Brackenshadow's ear. She lay down on her side, yawning.

When Rapidtail wakes up the next mooning, she and Brackenshadow are curled up together. She purrs gently, and falls back asleep.

Rapidtail feels a small stirring in her stomach. She smiles up at Brackenshadow.

"They will be beautiful, just like their father," purred Rapidtail.
