Chloe's confident smirk barely wavered as she heard her friend's request. "You want us to be a relationship by next week, and I have to make him stay for a month?" The blonde tucked a strand of stray hair behind her ear, before folding her arms across her chest. Her eyes darted across the cafeteria to where the boy in question was currently sitting with his friends. Chloe and her group of friends had been with them a moment ago--until the four girls had dragged Chloe to the back of the room, to announce some idea they had come up with to make their last year in high school more interesting.
"Think you can do it?" Tiana, the mastermind behind it all, wore a smile that matched Chloe's, a glint of challenge in her eyes. "He's dumped about four girls this moth already, you know. It's only the twentieth.That's a record, even for him."
Chloe gave a nonchalant shrug. "One cheated on him within a day after they got together; he dumped her immediately--she doesn't count. Besides," the girl's blue eyes met her friend's green ones. "You underestimate me. If I succeed?"
"Twenty from each of us."
Chloe appeared to be contemplating this offer. "And if I lose, I owe you twenty bucks each?" Tiana nodded in reply. Chloe unfolded her arms, a grin spreading across her defined features. "Make if fifty each, and you've got a deal." There was a risk in putting out over $200 on the line for a dare, but her mother wasn't likely to mind, or even notice. Besides, she was pretty darn confident in her own abilities. "Fifty, and you've got a deal." The eighteen-year old hoped that she hadn't misjudged her competition. Sure, he went through girls, tossing them aside like used tissues, but Chloe did the same with the boys. Over the course of her three and a half years at high school, the two of them had collectively dated at least a third of the student body, and been in close to 40 different 'relationships' each. Or maybe even more. Their non-commital dating habits were frowned upon by the teachers, having seen more than a couple of girls crying from being dumped after merely a week of dating (not that the boys didn't cry--they just did it in private), but as long as both Chloe and him came out with pretty good report cards, the teachers couldn't really complain.
"Deal."
"Great. Don't worry, he'll be with me by Saturday." She flashed her friends a grin as the girls made their way back to their table, Chloe's blue eyes sparkling with more mischief than ever.

[font=georgia]"No."
The words left his mouth in a hurried fashion. Releasing a heavy, tired sigh, the boy ran his finger through his shaggy blonde hair, the action soothing him from the stressful moment his peers were pressing onto him. Leaning back against his chair and resting his feet comfortably against the table, Conor Richard Keuning took a sip from the bottle in his hands, eying his friend sitting beside him. The friend - Elijah - gave a loud groan in defiance before sprawling himself out across the small plastic surface. "Dude, it'll be so easy for you. Four, this month! This is a piece of cake!" The dare was to go out with the 'Heartbreaker of the School', Chloe Brooke, it was something he really wasn't in the mood for. But Eli was right about the number of girls he had been through, the greatest record up to date. The boy shifted his hard stare to the girl who sat across the room, surrounded by her own posse. They had just returned from doing god knows what, but they seemed quite pleased with themselves. He met and held Chloe's gaze for a moment before dropping it to look at the straw hanging out of the bottle, a smirk playing at his soft lips. Mischief danced through his aquatically coloured oculars at the thought of winning against his idiotic friends.
"Forty , from each of you, if I win?" Looking around at the boys around him, his tone was serious, the childish and excited act had completely vanished in a matter of seconds. His friends nodded carefully, knowing the consequences. They glanced at each other nervously, oh come on it was only forty dollars. "And forty from you to all of us, if you lose." That was definitely a risky move. Spending over 300 dollars on a lousy bet was something he and his family really couldn't afford, especially just for his nine moronic best friends. Was it really worth it? Though doubtful, the thought of gaining three hundred and sixty dollars sounded amazing. "Guys, I'm practically broke as it is and the first thing I promised my mom was that I wouldn't waste my money on you all." That just sent the table into a world of hysteria, though whilst the table all mocked him for being such a 'momma's boy' and laughed until their stomachs hurt, Conor hardly broke his expression. Money for him wasn't something to mess around with, his family meant too much.
Scrunching his nose, he took a chip out of the small packet before popping it into his mouth. "Look, Koon," the fact Brodie - one of the other boys - was using his nickname made him cringe. "All we're asking is for you to ask her out or somethin' then just mess around for a while to make her love youu." The annoying teenager accentuated the word 'love' in his small sentence while the other boys made kissy noises. Rolling his eyes Conor played with the sleeve of his leather jacket before deciding to speak for himself. "Alright! If you all shut up and stop being annoying, I might do it." His tone was thick with annoyance and stress. The table blew up once again, the noise unbearable. Elijah held out his hand for the boy in which he gladly took it, their eyes meeting, both pairs holding a challenging stare. The same word left both their lips, being spoken in unison.
"Deal."
[color=gold]/heh so i hope this was okay? and i was kind of thinking like conor could have around 6-7 siblings and in his family money is pretty tight, so that's kind of why he was quite iffy on doing the dare, if you don't mind ((:
