Misty, now thoroughly exhausted, couldn't tell if the storm was getting better or worse. If it died down, they'd have to rest anyways; none of them were fit to swim across at this point. Perhaps they'd spend the rest of the day here, resting, and when the tide went back down in around... oh, eight or so hours, they'd make it back and sleep through the night. But of course, they had to survive this cold...

    ooc; Neonkit to Neonpaw c:

    ic; The young kit, soon to be apprenticed, waited eagerly for her turn. Neonkit wondered what it would be like, to train to be a warrior, to be able to actually do something instead of sit in the nursery or try to stay out of others' way all day. It seemed as a kit you're always useless. But now, she was going to be an apprentice. A cat with a purpose in the clan, doing something to not only cure her boredom but make her clan proud of her by being the best warrior she could. Or trying to, at least.

    All right, I need a mentor for my dear little Neonpaw, whom belongs to Riverclan.
Name:
    Neonkit -- Neonpaw -- Neontetra

    Appearance:
    {Blue tabby, green eyes}
    A marvelous blue tabby, Neonkit has stripes flowing from nose to tail, elegantly flowing in plumes. It is a rather light color, a cloudy color - so why neon? Well, just look at those eyes! They're a bright green, a rather electric color. Hence, neon. And tetra? Well, a neon tetra is a blue fish with a green stripe... so, it's quite fitting, really. Neon's body is rather average - in fact, everything about Neonkit's appearance is rather... average. Not to thin, not too fat, not too tall, not too short, not to big, not to small. Neon rests at an average medium, the size of... well, an average cat!

    Personality:
    {daring, outspoken, reckless, lives in the moment}
    Neon, oh Neon. Usually speaking the first thing that comes to mind, Neon may be seen as somewhat rude, though really, it's just speaking the truth. Never lying, never hiding opinions, never caring what others will think.
    As well Neon loves to take risks. Always hunting for adventure, often getting into serous trouble - though often it's only minor. The thing is, too, is that Neon will never learn. No matter what, you can't keep this cat from doing what her heart desires, be it swimming to the bottom of a river or scaling the tallest tree, crossing the border or toying with hearts, you can't stop this bold kitty; any chance that arrives will be taken.

    I never got around to making her an official bio yet.

    And yes, Neonpaw's a girl: I noticed that in no place of that application does it specify her gender, but Neonpaw is a girl c:

    If you have a cat that's really strict and/or not very fond of energetic bubbly apprentices, that would be some fun training x3

    The young tabby tom squirmed and wriggled on the ground, letting out a series of pitiful mews. Hunger was the first and only thing on this little tom's new mind, but it empowered his instincts, leading him to the warm belly of his mother. Quickly finding a good, comfortable spot, he latched onto a teat and suckled to his hearts content, the warm liquid filling his stomach and satisfying his hunger. Pausing only once to let out a small series of hiccups, he continued to suckle.

    Neonpaw sat inside the clearing of camp, waiting eagerly for her first day of training. Sure, she'd been out of camp before... but now she's an apprentice, meaning she'll have an actual purpose, a reason to leave camp, a reason to do something interesting for once.. Giving her paw a nonchalant lick, she scanned the crowd of cats wandering about for her mentor, wondering if he'd forgotten about her. Nah, just give it time. She told herself, still struggling to contain her excitement. It's still pretty early... She knew that there were some warriors not yet awake, but she couldn't help but want to get an early start, to learn the territory and learn to hunt, practice fighting and, for once, be of some sort of use to her clan. Continuing to look, her bright green eyes flickered from right to left, scanning through all the different cats for the sandy pelt of Briarstorm.

    Just be patient. She told herself as she couldn't spot him anywhere. With a sigh, she rest on her side, laying her head on her paws, eyes turning to the ground. You'll get to train soon enough. She though, trying to calm her eagerness to go, forcing herself to wait and not just get up and run out of camp at that very moment. There's still all day. She told herself. ... but I want to go now. Right now. She thought with another sigh, once more lifting her head to scan the area for her mentor, still yet to be seen. No sign of him at all. With a final sigh, she rest her head back on her paws and began tracing lines in the dirt with her claws, trying to distract herself from the day, which seemed to get slower and slower by the second.

    Pup name:
    Clockpup -- tower

    Gender:
    male

    Appearance:
    small red fox with copper eyes
    Few ugly words would be used to describe this pup at a young age, perhaps even none at all. His coat is a radiant red-orange color, marvelously gleaming in the sun, patches of white resting on his legs, inside his ears, on the tip of is tail, and running from his chin to his chest. He's of average build for a fox, a slight bit on the skinny side, but it's not too noticeable. His eyes are a deep copper color, reminding one of leaves littering the ground on a mild fall day. He has few detracting appearance flaws, though as he gets older - especially after his injury {see plots} - he'll probably have a scar or two, and the injury will leave a deep scar down the middle of his head, running between his eyes.

    Five words to describe the personality:
    Argumentative, excitable, sweet, rational, and responsible.

    Plots:
    -When he gets a bit older, maybe a month or two after he becomes a warrior, some terrible accident will happen, be it a large tree branch falling or something else, he's not going to die, but will suffer permanent brain damage, causing him to have memory loss. However, he'll remember everything before it, but nothing after it: someone will have to explain to him each day what happened. When this happens, A vixen will find him one morning, and he'll explain to her his situation. They meet every couple of days, the vixen hanging around, no meetings being able to be planned in advance. However, after awhile, the vixen, obviously in love with Clocktower, will come back to the clan, and they'll be together, perhaps have a litter or two.
    have you ever seen the movie '50 first dates?'

    Why do you want the pup?:
    I've never played a fox before, and it's easier to start with a pre-made family than start with a completely alone fox. My muse for this little guy is rather high, especially once he'll suffer from amnesia.

    Three... four... five... She counted the lines in the sand as she made them. six... seven... eight... The time seemed to go on forever, each second lasting a minute, each minute lasting an hour, it seemed. nine... ten... ele- She jumped a bit at the voice of her mentor as he seemed to appear out of nowhere. "That's okay." She said with a slight shrug, bringing a small smile to her face. Of course she wasn't about to tell him how bored out of her mind she'd been, or how early she'd been up to wait for him. "So, does that mean we can go now?" She asked, a new excitement in her voice as she realized, now that her mentor was here, something could be done! She thought of all the things to do; hunting, fighting, patrols, anything and everything she could think of, she expected. Though, that little voice in the back of her head told her it was probably not going to be as exciting as the fictional part of her mind was making it out to be. "What are we going to do first?" She wondered aloud.

    o.o sorry I'm late!

    Neon skipped over to where two of her siblings were chatting. "Hi Arsenic, Helium." She greeted them with a smile. "How are you?"

    Hunting! She thought with joy. "Of course I can handle it!" She scoffed, though an amused look rest on her face. Trotting quickly after him, she wondered how hard hunting could be. It's just killing an animal that is way smaller than you. She told herself, thinking that this was going to be a breeze. Just jump on it and kill it with your weight. She began planning how she would do this. How come others have such a hard time? She wondered, thinking about overhearing apprentices talking about failed catches and how hard it was to hunt. Maybe they just don't try hard enough. Yeah, that had to be it.

    Though, doubt lingered in her mind, and though thoroughly confident she could hunt easily on her first try, she knew there had to be more to it. "Is hunting hard?" She asked finally, breaking out of her thoughts as she followed her mentor.

    How's that? c:

    "Well, If you're not alone, who's with you?" She asked with a snarl, indicating the empty forest around them. Beginning to suspect the she-cat really did see through her lies, she didn't go back on her word, but didn't press it either.
