"Dean, weaponry won't hurt it. Magic seems to stun it though." Calix called, as she aimed another blast at it.

Calix raised her blade, holding it against the rake's throat. "Let's test that theory, shall we? I've run across a lot of 'immortal' things that find it pretty hard to keep on trucking if they're missing a head."

"I was right, the whispers are never a good thing!" Faith said.

"So... Nobody cares if I remove its head, right?" Calix asked. "Cause my arm's gettin' kinda tired."

"I think that's enough outta you." With that she swung the blade upwards through its neck. "And looks like we're gonna have another fun time..." She growled.

"Or we could go with 'if ya can't kill it, make it wish it was dead'. I've still got a lot of bad feelings about your master, punk." Calix growled, gripping her sword tighter. She glared at the monster with nothing but hatred. "I'm my own person finally, no one will ever take that from me again!"

"Try twenty-three." The mage had lost all semblance of civility, stalking towards the creature. "Move." She glared at Emma menacingly.

"You know nothing." She snarled, raising her sword and pointing it at the rake. "You're going to wish you could die soon, freak."

((Okay Calix has gone full-on Eclipse mode... Don't try to stop her, you'll just get her mad at you too.

"Maybe not, but it'll make me feel better." She gives a feral grin. "And buddy, I'm the thing people's nightmares have nightmares about."

"One problem: I don't scream. So how about I enjoy yours instead." She twirled her sword in her hand, smirking. "There's nothing for you to feed on here."

"Who said... I wanted to be intimidating?" She bared her teeth in a silent snarl. "I just want... I just want..." Suddenly she dropped her hand to her side, her shoulders slumping. "I just want..."

"I just want to be... To be human. I want to be a person, not some imagined freak or... Anything." Her sword disappeared, along with her composure. She sniffled, wiping at the tears that formed in her eyes, not wanting anyone to see her cry. "I-I'm fine. I'm always fine, don't worry." She said, her voice cracking slightly.

"You wouldn't understand, you don't know what it's like, Viper." She looks down at her hands, spreading them open as though to assure herself she's still there. "It's not what I've done, it's... Everything else."

I never really grew up by myself, it was all secondhand, like watching a movie of someone's life." She sighed heavily. "The first time I got out...
