Ebony raised her head. She had had enough excitement for one day. being chased by a monster, narrowly escaped some badgers and had a close encounter with some other rouges.
"going somewhere?" she called to torbie.

Ebony looked across to Torbie. The plump mouse was inviting. She shrugged her shoulders and padded across the barn.
"thanks for sharing torbie" she muttered with her mouth full of mouse.

Ebony giggled and nudged Torbie, their running joke was that Torbie and Pipit had a 'thing' goin g between them.
"I better leave you two alone then. She smiled. And strolled out. Of then barn.
."Bye, torbie,Pipit.

The thick trees barely let any light through, not that there was any, night was coming. A dangerous time to be out. Ebonys dappled coat was Almost black. The darkness crawled around her like snakes. Something moved. Two yellow eyes where watching her.
"I have been waiting for you. Ebony" and with a scream from ebony. Both where gone.

When ebony next awoke, she was in a huge black cave, she had heard from sand,an old cat who lived in the barn before Pipit and Torbie, that this was an old twoleg place where they dug huge holes into the ground. But why was she there?No twolegs where in sight. The cat with the yellow eyes was carrying her.she could get a better look at him. He had a brownish pelt with darker paws and tail. Looking around she saw that more cats where assembling around them. Who was this brown cat? Why was he so familiar? Why was she here?

**********************THE NEXT DAY ****************************

Darkshadow strolled towards the barn. They where here. Ebony had told him where her friends lived. The old barn in the far corner of the forest. He walked towards the entrance and looked to the 2 cats in there.

"I am darkshadow. I bring news of your friend, Ebony. I know where she is!" darkshadow told them. His golden eyes full of fear.

" I understand why you are suspicious about me, pipit was It? Well, ebony was kidnapped, by a cat called Fallon, he was told by his master that her 'services' where needed." darkshadows eyes where full of concern, "but I care about her! Because...because I'm her brother."

"yes!" he exclaimed. "will you trust me now?!" his eyes flickered with a passionate fire of deturmination.
"I can show you where she is!" he pleadingly looked at them and stepped outside.

Once the cats arrived at the old mine shaft darkshadow headed into a smaller cave, leaving pipit and torbie or to follow his scent.

"MRRRO- gak!" the yowl for help was cut short by another cat grabbing darkshadows neck.

"Darkshadow?! what are you doing here?!" Came a familiar voice. Ebony!
"Rescuing you!" Darkshadow replied, still gasping for breath after Ebony had choked him.
"You shouldnt be here." A different voice.
"who are you?!" Growled Darkshadow.
"I am Fallon."

"We have to leave." Fallon's voice called through the tunnel,
"Why should we trust you?! You are the one who kidnapped Ebony in the first place!" Darkshadow cried.
"Trust him, he had to kidnap me! he would die if he didn't!"
The cats paw-steps came closer the Pipit and Torbie.

Suddenly Ebony, Darkshadow and Fallon burst into the tunnel, breaking the tension.
"um... Pipit? Is...Is Torbie ok?" Ebony's eyes were full of concern.

"So," sighed Ebony, "This is Darkshadow, and this is Fallon."
Fallon and Darkshadow could merely nod, as both were lost for words.

Darkshadow hisses, offened by this cats words.
Fallon merely stood there. Glaring at her.
"Ebony we need to go."
"And you!" Darkshadow hissed "you think that you can just KIDNAP my sister!? Just so that YOU didnt die?!"

"Relax you big furrball. It was no big deal! I was going to help you escape anyway!" Fallon said, not realizing that he had just made a big mistake.
"Grrr... You don't get it do you?! You took my sister!!! just for your own selfish life!"

Darkshadow had had enough. " thats it, i cant take it any more. you guys are all to selfish ans pathetic. I'm leaving." and with that he stormed out of the cave.
