    Ok, support course character who, after getting into the course/after a few weeks at UA, something happened/a villain attacked him, mostly paralyzing his legs. kid lives out of spite, and decides to keep in the support course, because it doesn't require any innate combat skills other than basic stuff.

    I'll track down a quirk that would help him- even before the injury- probably wind control? make a gust under him for a quick escape if need be?

    Akil was content to sit in his chair. He didn't know if pulling out his phone would be disrespectful, so, despite the temptation, he left it there.

    ||Kumo|| Legendary Warriors

    "I'm sure there will be, sadly. But if any come up, I'll try and protect you!" Kumo grinned yet again, and returned her gaze to her new pal. "If I say 'Don't test me, I have venom!' then I'm sure they'll back down!" she nodded approvingly to herself, willing to go far for the friends that weren't earned by her family's dough.

    He wasn't late, yet. He would be soon if he din't hurry. Thankful for being trained by his family on the basics, at least, of knowing how to hustle, he made it through the gates and into the auditorium with a minute or three to spare. "Seriously. How do I manage to forget to charge my phone on the night of the first day of school?" He grumbled under his breath. In his hurry to get out the door, he'd forgotten his breakfast, to put his hair up, and to even bring the aforementioned dead phone. He could charge it at school, but really, what was the point? It'd failed him, and he was mad at it. He would get over it later if he made it through the first day of this daunting new school. He'd gone into the Support Course, intending on helping heroes who couldn't learn to help themselves, and Dustin did worry about his capability to have patience with the students he'd likely help out in later moths and years, but for now what he needed to focus on was the first day. Then he could start another new routine. Hopefully it wouldn't include forgetting to charge his phone every night,

    Slightly Unprofessional I got noooooo clue, it's up to y'all people who have villains to toss it around. It'd need to be an injury that hurts his spinal cord/breaks his legs in such a way that they either won't heal properly, or the nerves wont reconnect in a way to make them functional. I'll look up trauma that can cause that and get back to you on a list of injuries.

    SHOKAY: percentage list, i got rid of the ones that couldn't get Sushi

    • Car and motorcycle accidents (38%)
    • Falls (30%)
    • Violence, the most common source of which is gunshot wounds (14%)

    The bottom two make the most sense.

    Ultraviolet Death THE NULL QUIRK! Dustin could be up in the air using his quirk for something, Nullify hits him and the fall gets him in a way that he loses functionality!? Unless you had an idea, Psycho?

    So yeah. I'mma at Gold and ask for approval from them and Iron

    Gold!   Ultraviolet Death

    So

    Here's Idea in simplified terms. Whichever Nullify that Iron makes nulls Dustin's quirk while he's in the air. That makes him fall pretty hard, but he manages to stay conscious. Denki notices this and decides to play with his 'food' and makes the injury worse. I'm sure, then, a hero comes along and saves Dustin.

    Rosalie* That's a good idea. Paraplegia is really weird. I think that, for development reasons, his paraplegia will be the kind I've heard a lot of- where some days he might be able to feel and better move his legs, but other days, nothing at all, plus pain from them. It'd be great if Ryuga tried to help and was the one that allowed Dustin to have occasional feeling in his legs!
