Opening, Karmin was suitably ready for him to continue. "Tonight s the last night. Even a sketch would be okay,."

She shook her head. "Nope. Not even for Sasha," she chuckled.
-
"A co-worker. She wanted to meet the person who can't cook to save his life," she chuckled. "After you finish the sketch of course.
-
"Aww... You didn't say he had to leave after he finished drawing," Sasha said from the other side of the room. The voluptuous redhead, pouted.
"Don't get too hot and bothered," she told her friend. -
"Why not stay," Sasha purred seductively. "Then he won't have earned enough to pay for the both of us," Karmin told her.
-
Getting dressed, Karmin made her way out into the night air. It was cold now that the sun was down.
-
She shivered slightly, but nodded. She quickened her pace.
-
Holding onto his hand as they arrived at the house, she looked back at the barn. "I'm going to check that the horses are warm enough for the night," she said, letting go of his hand.
-
Karmin walked into the barn and started caring for the horses.
-
Karmin smiled, patting his nose. "Hey there Shadow. Your barn mate been good with you?"
-
"good good. And your upstairs neighbour?" she asked, talking about Kai. She stepped up to go and see if the boy was in there.
-
"Yes," she nodded. "A quiet neighbour is a good neighbour."
-
She shrugged. "It's going to get cold soon," she said. "Adam suspects you'll move into the house sooner or later to keep warm."
-
"There is definitely." she told him.
-
She nodded, giving that overly sweet smile like she had when threatening him. But this time it was genuine, unless Kai wanted to tell her anything.
-
"Right. I haven't been home early enough for dinner for a while." She commented.
-
Shefrowned. "Adam works late. I usually work all night. What more do you want me to say?"
-
She looked at kai, uncertain now. "Okay..." She got up, turning to lave.
-
She went into the house, trying to shake the idea that Kai had a feeling that something was going on between her and Adam. She just hoped that Kate didn't feel the same way.
-
"Is dinner ready?" Karmin asked as she came in. "Or do I have to cook tonight?"
