Sebastian had almost slept through the blaring of his alarm, if it had not been for his housekeeper smacking him in the face with one of his pillows. With a groan, he rolled away, trying to shield himself from further attacks as the older woman yelled for him to get his ass out of bed. If it had been anyone else, they would have faced the full, fiery wrath of a pissed off, hung-over Sebastian, but it was Rosa, who had been with his family for as long as he could remember. In a way, he viewed her as a second mother – God knows she was always warmer towards him than Elizabeth Philips ever was. A few moments after she had left the room, he managed to pull himself out of bed, standing unsteadily on his feet as he took the painkiller that Rosa had left him, hoping to relieve the pounding in his head. Maybe it hadn’t been the best idea for him to have gone clubbing the night before school, but he wasn’t exactly known for making healthy choices. After showering and readying himself for the day ahead, the dark-haired boy got dressed in his perfectly tailored St. Jude’s uniform, adding a pair of custom Cartier cufflinks that had the Phillips family crest embossed on them, before heading out to the kitchen of the family’s penthouse apartment, to say goodbye to Rosa, ignoring the calls of greeting from his half-brother, and made his way downstairs where his driver was waiting for him in the black limousine. During the ride over to the school, Sebastian busied himself with replying to messages and emails when he noticed he had a voicemail from a number he didn’t recognize.
“Hi Sebastian! It’s me, Hannah, we spent Saturday night together? Well, I had a lot of fun with you and I was thinking that maybe we could hang out again soon-“

He wasted no time removing her message from his phone, tossing the device carelessly next to him as he stared out the window, watching the upper east side pass by him. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long until his phone buzzed, announcing an incoming call.
“Hey Seb! It’s Hannah again, I thought I would give you a call since it has been a couple of days and I haven’t heard from you so-“
“Look, Anna, we had a fun night but just leave it at that, okay? Besides you’re not really my type.” He cut the girl off, giving an exasperated sigh, clearly not wanting to be having this conversation.
“It’s Hannah, you absolute motherfu-”
Sebastian ended the call and proceeded to block her with a roll of his dark eyes, adding it to the long list of numbers of pissed off flings that he left in his wake as the limo pulled up in front of the commons. Almost as soon as he exited, he was greeted by the usual crowd of boys that gathered around him. They all spoke excitedly about what they had gotten up to during summer break, however, Sebastian couldn’t help zoning out of their conversation as he watched the students milling around, already bored to death, until his gaze finally rested on a girl he was sure hadn’t seen before, despite the odd sense of familiarity she evoked. The girl was almost certainly a freshman or else Sebastian would have definitely known who she was. She was quite pretty with her dirty blonde hair and alluring blue eyes. Her skirt was too short, but Sebastian wasn’t complaining, his eyes sweeping appreciatively over the length of her body. A smirk appeared on his face as he saw her blush which made her somehow even more attractive. His attention was drawn away from the girl by someone asking him if he was going to the Kiss on the Lips party that Anastasia Bass was hosting tonight. “Of course.” He answered, looking towards where the unholy trinity of Constance Schools for Girls stood, and made his way over to the girls after excusing himself from his group.
“Ladies, how are we?” Sebastian greeted the trio as he swaggered up to them, placing a familiar arm around Griffin’s shoulders, leaning into the dark-haired girl as he shot her friendly smile. Out of all the girls, Sebastian was the closest to Griff. The two of them had been friends for ages, but it seemed lately that the girl wanted nothing to do with him. It honestly confused the hell out of him, leaving him to wrack his brain trying to think of what he had done for her to be so annoyed at him. “Ana, I heard about your party tonight, love. Can I count myself as invited or do I have to gate-crash?” He asked playfully, raising an dark eyebrow at the Bass girl. Anastasia was his favourite of the Bass twins, though it was a fairly easy decision to make when her only competition was the always insufferable Ashton, his sworn rival. It also helped that she was one of the most gorgeous girls he had ever seen. Something about her had always made him nervous and so while he would playfully flirt with her like he did everyone, Sebastian had never set out to sleep with her.
A sudden idea came to mind as he remembered the pretty girl from earlier. It was well-known that Anastasia had a strict ‘no freshman allowed’ policy for her annual Kiss on the Lips party, and there was no way the blonde would be getting in without an invitation. “..I just remembered I have some friends flying in from California today. Would I be able to grab two extra invites? Pretty please? I promise I will be on my best behavior.” Sebastian gave Ana his usual charming smile, silently hoping that she would say yes so he could invite his newest target along to the party. It would certainly make the night more interesting.

This was the absolute last place she wanted to be. That thought had quickly become evident as the blonde looked around at the other students who were talking and laughing in their little cliques. Delilah fidgeted nervously, trying to smooth out any wrinkles, with her school uniform that had astonishingly cost more than her entire wardrobe. Thank God her scholarship had covered the expenses. Despite wearing the same mandatory uniform, she couldn't help but feel like she stuck out as she became increasingly aware of the designer items the other girls had added to their outfits. Instead of heels and a designer handbag, she wore a pair of scuffed up pair of black boots and a faded blue backpack that was loaded up with her books for the day.The Constance School for Girls' uniform just made her feel like she was playing dress up as a little rich girl and she couldn't help but long for her favourite pair of ripped jeans. Lilah had known that she would feel out of her element but it didn't hit her how much until she had arrived at the commons. She missed her old school badly, even if it had a negative reputation for producing troublemakers. At least she felt like she belonged there.
With a sigh, she resolved to just do her best and try to keep her head low. It was an amazing educational opportunity to be able to attend the prestigious school and it would look excellent on her record when it came time to apply for colleges. She just had to remind herself of that. Pulling out her timetable for the day, she realized with a sinking feeling of despair that she had no idea where to go for her first class. She was completely and utterly lost. It seemed that she had no choice but to approach someone for directions. Looking around for the friendliest face she could spot, Delilah finally decided to approach two girls, a dirty blonde and a brunette, who looked a bit younger but appeared to be more open than the other girls. As she made her way over to the two girls, two dark-haired males joined them, causing her to doubt approaching them but it was too late to turn back now. "Hi, I'm so sorry for interrupting," Delilah smiled nervously as she came to stand in front of the small group "but I'm completely lost and I was wondering if you could help me? I'm trying to get to English Literature with Mrs Langford." She pointed to the class on her timetable, handing the sheet of paper to the brunette who she thought one of the boys had called Cass, and ran her fingers through her blonde curls to try and calm herself down. The girl wasn't used to feeling so nervous - Delilah had been in what one could call the popular group at her previous school and ran with a crowd that was often in trouble, but this was a whole different world to what she was used to. It was foreign and she had no idea how to navigate it. Hopefully, these girls would be able to help her.
