Christophe shrugged. "What kind of villainous hero would I be in that case?" He set her down and smirked. "I'm sort of like Cat Woman, aside from the fact that... One," he stepped close to her, brushing her hair out of her face. "I'm a boy. And... Two," he leaned down to whisper in her ear, "I'm very hungry." Then, he bit down, his canines piercing through the delicate epidermis of her throat, allowing the ruby red nourishment he craved so much to soothe the burning in the back of his own throat.

Cheyenne nodded, taking a moment to sit down on the couch. The dizziness was only getting worse, and her stomach was beginning to churn. Kinu, she sent, get your ass back here, now. You getting drunk is effecting me, and it's not good for my baby. She prayed it went through.

Only moments later, Kinu poofed into the living room with a glass of some red and black, swirling liquid. It was glowing. "Aww, sorry, Chey. I forgot that you're pregnant." He looked at her stomach. "It isn't really showing."

Ah, no hard feelings, guys! Haha, I understand! <3

I have to say that I really feel bad about asking for all the recaps, but I don't really know what to do anymore because I only have one "next generation" character, and I'm still SOO confused about what all's happening.

GEEZ. You were serious when you said it was on hold. 0.0

OMG BUT THANK YOU GUYS FOR THERE RECAP THAT MAKES MORE SENSE NOW AND UM FOR NOT KILLING ME AND BEING AMAZING ONLINE BEST FRIENDS (I'm a pain in the ass, I know, but I love you guys. XD)

Before I post... Where IS everyone? I get the recap, but where are the actual locations, and how much time has passed? Also... Are first generation characters still important here? Or is it mostly second generation, now?

SO THEY'RE ALL ADULTS. ALL THE FIRST GEN ARE OLD NOW JESUS. REMIND ME IF SETH AND CHEYENNE ARE BLACKWELLS! I THINK THEY ARE? (BTw, should I make Dani still alive, or like... Dead? And what happened to Chey's baby?)

ALSO... Did Josephine and Kinu ever have a kid? CAN they have kids? (Biologically, I mean.)

Should I include a badass tsundere and just throw her in? (Or him... Whichever you guys decide.)

    Um... Was I missed? (Jk)

    Ahhhh... Makes sense.

    AW, boo! :(

You wouldn't BELIEVE the old story I just found while going through old posts. XD

A cold sweat came over Cheyenne as she glanced around. Something was wrong. "Seth," the auburn whispered quietly. "Danielle. Something's wrong... Something bad's happened."

    ----------------

Now, said girl's brown eyes opened. She glanced around her, and then paled. Well... This was off.

"Mom...? Dad...?" She didn't know why she bothered calling. It was obvious they weren't around- but it was a kind of... habit, she guessed...? Her surrounding area was dark, very dark, littered in spray painted profanities and sexual innuendos, and decorated with the occasional, old, rusty and or beat up trash can, some tipped over. It was a cliché scene, but the girl was scared. Why was she here? How did she get here? Where was here?

    Oh, Lordy.

The brunette had never craved the comfort of her mother's sugar-cookie perfume and forehead kisses, or her father's warm arms more. "Mama...? Daddy...?" Tears pricked her eyes as she huddled up in a corner, hopefully away from the sight of anyone who might hurt her, her arms wrapping around her knees, and her hair spilling over her shoulders. She sniffled and laid her head on her knees, trying to keep quiet, but the sobs wracking her voice. "I'm scared..."

Ahahaha... Please ignore how fair this girl is. ^.^ Sunny's more of a beach-tan skin tone, but aside from that...

    PERSONALITY »
Sundown, as she prefers others to call her Sunny as her name, is, despite her feral instincts, quite a motherly creature. Although because of her history, she talks funny, and doesn't understand all of what is being said, she always makes an attempt to be kind- sometimes going overboard with cuddles and hugs- though her intentions are pure. Sundown is very protective of those she takes under her wing, and when she feels threatened will immediately put up a fight, switching to a more daunting and wild character side. She is brutally honest, and may attach herself to the hip (...borderline stalk...) someone whom she trusts. She prefers to be in the company of someone soothing, if she isn't hunting or playing- and she's quite easily entertained. (Laser pointers, anyone...?) But despite her wild, clingy and hyperactive personality, she's very innocent and naive.

    LIKES »
FOOD, for one! (She can never get enough, due to her body not retaining much of the nutrients.) Think along the lines of Sasha from AOT.
HUGS! (Sundown is always cold (again, due to her body chemistry) and so she will often cuddle with anyone she can find to stop her tremors (once she believes they're safe, that is).
Exercise. (It isn't in her nature to sit still for more than five seconds.)
Soft spoken, gentle people. (Because of her hyper and halfway feral personality, (though she's never intentionally mean), Sundown enjoys being around quiet, calm folk. They make her feel safe and secure, and it's the PURRFECT atmosphere to curl up and take a cat-nap in!
Other hyper, wild people. (It's always fun to have silly, just as active friends!)
BIRDS. AND... FISH! AND... DEER! Oh... Deer... <3 (...she is a feline, after all...)

    DISLIKES »
CANINES. (Though it's fair to say most don't like her either. She's not opposed to being friends with a shifter, or taking care of a dog, and often finds them cute, she is absolutely terrified of them. ESPECIALLY coyotes, hyenas, dingos and dessert wolves. (Though she gets along fairly neutrally with foxes.)
Lions. (The competition? Let's not even start.)
    Liars.
Water and storms. (...another phobia, perhaps?)

    STRENGTHS »
SUPER fast! (Fastest land animal on the planet~)
Strategic. (It gets exhausting running that fast forever. She's gotta have brains, or she won't be able to survive! (Cheetah thoughts. Goodness.))
Sharp claws and strong jaws. (She's a feline, after all. She's not there to just look pretty- though she does take some pride in keeping her fur clean.)

    WEAKNESSES »
She can only run so long. (Sixty miles per hour can get to be too much!)
She's hypoglycemic. (Because of how fast she's able to go, Sundown's body runs on adrenaline. This makes it hard on the rest of her body, which means she doesn't produce enough glucose in enough time to keep herself healthy without snacking just about every thirty minutes to an hour.)
Gets dehydrated easily. (Like up above.)
Can't read or write. (Why should she have to? Sundown's been raised in a pride of cheetah shifters her whole life, and everything there was based off survival! What are books? Although she's a fast learner, she gets embarrassed quite easily when everyone else can do so and she can't. How humiliating...)

    HISTORY »
Sundown was raised in a pride of cheetahs, where she was loved and cared for and trained by her parents, siblings, and pride members. Sundown was always a bright student in everything- hunting, fighting, and speaking both the human language and the language of felines! In their pride, they wore what was absolutely necessary- nothing. Shifting and ripping clothes? What a pain! Plus, if it got hot, you didn't want to overheat! And if it was cold, body heat was the answer. Duh! Cuddle time! Everyone was polite, and the pride abided by the soul-mate rule. You find ONE mate, and stay with them for the rest of your lives. Till death do them part!

But one day... There were these explosions and flying pieces of metal! Everyone began to fall unconcious! It was Sundown's job to get the Cubs and leave- so she did. Except when she turned back to get the last one, she was tranquilized. When the girl woke up, she was by herself. And she was surrounded by people! In... In some big tent and behind these large, metal bars! For days, Sundown cried and hoped for her family to come save her, but they never did. Why didn't they come for her? She didn't see any of their spines or necks get crushed, and they weren't bleeding!

She hoped the pups were okay.

Eventually, during a "training" session, where she was beaten over and over by a harsh strip of material, Sundown broke the man's neck and escaped. Now, she's in the forest, lost. She had encountered come scary looking creatures, and had to hide herself away beside this rectangular, dead tree. She burrowed herself in the roots and ground of an oak, and hoped the pride would find her.

After all... She was one of their warriors... One of their loved ones. They didn't forget her, did they?

    KIN »
Two siblings, an older brother and a set of twins- a younger brother and sister. She has no idea where they, her parents, or the rest of her pride are. (They got shipped off to trafficking and the like.)

Plenty! Sundown had LOTS of friends? Why the specific title of gender or a single one? (No boyfriend. Haha)

    SPOUSE »
Spouse...? OH! You meant mate, silly! No. She hasn't found a mate. She's too young to settle that kind of commitment, anyway!

    CHILDREN »
What?! Some people have Cubs outside of mate hood?! That was UNHEARD OF in Sundown's pride!

    FEARS »
Being alone... (She can't be by herself after her experience in the, what they called "circus", and coming in contact with those scary creatures!)
Not being loved. (Sundown has a very tender heart, and sometimes reacts in destructive nature when upset, but she never harms anyone. She is always terrified of, after her family didn't come for her, not being good enough, or useful or smart or talented or beautifully furred enough.)

    DREAMS »
Finding her family, her pride, any hopefully one day, her soulmate!

    PLOT IDEAS »
HI THERE! I'm Natty! So I know I put a LOT of interestjng and strange stuff in there. I promise I'm not posting anything non-pg13! Most of what I have planned for her includes her learning to read and write, her "gifting" others with dead lizards and birds, her constant cravings for food, naps and cuddles and overall just being a mostly comical character, though I promise she'll be serious when necessary. In my idea, she talks very old-English. She doesn't use contractions, modernized words or slang, and uses terms such as "thee", "thy", "thou", etc. Oh, um... Before I forget... Once she joins Willow Branch, she'll learn to wear clothes. XD

Quiet footsteps echoed around the area. Calloused paws padded gracefully along the ground, eyes dialated to take in every possible threat or prey. It was unusual for a feline of the particular race to be up in the tree tops like a tiger, jaguar, leopard or panther, but with the creature's enhanced and differed genes, it was more likely. The cheetah didn't exactly prefer to be so high above the ground, as it was harder to hold footing or run, but with all of the terrifying creatures she'd seen, and had never seen before, she felt safer, concealed in the branches and leaves.

    A movement caught her attention.

Something... Fluttering about on the ground. But there were humans- or what appeared to be humans, standing only yards away. The feline, for a moment, weighed her options. Take the chance, or not? She decided she didn't care. If they came at her like that man with the course strip he used to beat her, she'd eat them, too.

A low purr of both amusement and satisfaction hummed off her vocal chords before the cat rolled her lean shoulders, hunching down lower and lower, her crimson-rust orbs glowing with the basic instinct to kill, heightened by the simple fact that she was damn near starving. Her ribs protruded from her glossy fur, and she didn't know if she had enough energy to chase another prey if she didn't catch this one.

Her ears laid back, tail keeping her balance, tip twitching back and forth in anticipation. She had one chance... One chance to pounce, one chance to chase, and nothing had better get in her way.

The feral creature immediately took off in a dash, carefully calculating her footsteps as leaves and broken pieces of bark crunched beneath her weight. A wild cry, halfway between a yip and a roar escaped her as she threw herself at the prey animal, it's head turning within the last minute. It reared on it's back hooves, antlers nearly touching the sky, but the feline was neither scared, or impressed. She tackled head on, her jaws going around it's muzzle as it kicked. A growl arose and within the next second, she bit down.

For a moment, the deer screamed and kicked, before the cheetah went in for the kill. Unlike most felines, her kind didn't play around with their food- both because of their ability to contain stamina for only so long, and their humanistic aspects of heart. She didn't want the creature to suffer, and snapped her jaws around the mammal's neck as quickly as possible, cutting off the pained sound in an instant.

Huffing, and forgetting about the people behind her, the cheetah plopped down like a lazy house cat and licked her paw, rubbing it over her ears and forehead before biting into the leg of the animal, ripping at it's flesh for substinance.

    How exhausting hunting could be...

    Feral. Starving. Deadly.

Sundown was no lady when it came to instinct- or to any human aspect. As she tore into tender meat of her kill, the shifter reminded herself of the people behind her. Part of her wished only to finish her meal and continue on her way, but the other part wanted her to protect what was hers.

Considering her circumstances, that wasn't a lot, but she'd go to Hell before she let someone touch her hard-earned food. She decided a display might be necessary.

The shifter licked her lips with her rough tongue and turned, having walked around her prey to stand in front of it. Now she put her haunches up, her soft, fluffy belly scraping the ground and contorted her face as she let out a warning hiss. Mine, she thought to herself. Some rational part in her head reminded her that humans didn't eat raw meat, but then again, she also though humans didn't attack defenseless, innocent creatures.

She was proven wrong about that one, too.

    OOC-
    Hi, guys!

Lars, can I just say I'm literally crying, I'm laughing so hard over Florence's profile? "Please do not bang the spider-snake." XDDDD

    [shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300]Sundown
    Cheetah Shifter
    [/glow][/shadow]

    Gahhhhh, aw s***, no!

Sundown slowly crept back over her prey, keeping her predator-eyes peeled and her ears perked and alert. There were more? Some kind of dragon, a hybrid of some sort, one or more of the fae, a canine way off in the distance- Oh, God. She couldn't take on a full-strength canine right now. This wasn't a good thing... She'd either have to eat fast or abandon her meal and flee for safety. Which, granted, she could do easily, but she hadn't eaten in days. She wasn't at her full health- otherwise, she'd be dragging her meal with her somewhere quiet, with a lack of threat and people.

Once again, she bared her teeth, snapping dangerously as a warning, her head frantically looking around for the assumed-to-be enemies she could barely see, but could smell more than a mile away. Her tail lashed back and forth angrily.

She was scared. Sundown knew she looked scary, and at full strength, was, but she also knew she was only putting on a show. A farce. Sure, she could run, but that was only for so long before she'd pass out and die from over exertion at this rate. She was well aware of currently malnourished state, her left, back leg she'd been favoring, and knew her sight was blurry, and had she not been covered in fur, the welts from the circus whip would have been as plain as Mount Everest in a prairie.

She was weak. She didn't know if she could take them in a fight. She prayed to God for every bit of strength she could muster. Prayed her brain wouldn't give out on her, and prayed more than anything, these people weren't actually enemies. That buck had taken out the last of her energy, and she was fairly confident a mouse could take her down, at this point.

    [shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300]Sundown
    Cheetah Shifter
    [/glow][/shadow]

Sundown whipped around and snarled at the thing the minute it said a word. It took her a minute to process what it said before contorting her face into confusion. What? This thing wanted to help her move her food? Why? Her eyes narrowed into slits as her pupils shrunk into tiny black specks.

This guy wanted to steal her prey! For some reason, she decided it would be best to shift at this point, as it was easier to fight in this kind of situation, and she could communicate properly. Especially since it took extra energy to stay in her full cheetah form. Her natural form was the half and half. Her fur receded, black spots inked on the skin of her arms, legs, shoulder blades and collar bones, black lines streaking across her cheekbones and then downwards mid-eye, her irises shifting from crimson to copper, and her bones reforming themselves. Thankfully, she still had her tail. In full human, she had little to no balance what so ever.

The only downside to shifting was that the blood from her kill that had stained her fur, now dripped down her bare skin, and was somewhat uncomfortable... But she couldn't let this thing know any of that.

"I shall politely deny thy offer," the shifter hissed, tail tip twitching nervously, ears pressed back against her temples. "Thou hath shown a lack of reason to place my trust in thee." Now her eyes flittered around before landing where Tk was. "Come out from thy hiding, little drake... I can smell thee." She looked in a different direction. "Thee as well. Put aside thy cowardice. After all, thou did follow to my trail, did thou not?"

    [shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300]Sundown
    Cheetah Shifter
    [/glow][/shadow]

For a moment, Sundown glared darkly at the hybrid. "I speak fluently in both feline and human, I shall have thee informed!" Her form bristled, rather agitated with the insult. Shifters were pretty prideful.

Nervously, the shifter then took two steps back from Tk. "I would appreciate distance," she murmured, glaring down at the small creature, but more with fear than cruel intent, this time. She had a better feeling about this one than the hybrid, however. Call it animal instinct, but a predator could usually sense another predator, and was normally well aware of the food chain.

She knew not what he was, but something venomous wrapped itself around his atmosphere.

"Little drake," she continued, the wind swirling her untamed black-coffee hair, "Tell me of thyself, and thine surroundings, as all is unfamiliar to my senses. Then, proceed to do as such as well, hybrid." Copper orbs turned in the spider-snake's direction. "Forgive my impoliteness, but thou strikes me wrongly." Her eyes scanned over his half hidden form. "I may not be able to make out all of thee, but thou's form is not one of a fae, nor shifter."

She glanced behind her at her kill. If she didn't get this resolved soon, the insects would come crawling, and she didn't have the patience to deal with such. Focusing again on the miniature dragon, she felt her mind wonder, and take in how adorable he was- like a little kitten! Something about his gentle, timid presence made her feel more at ease. She knew she had to keep her guard up, though. After all, she didn't know him, he could highly possibly transform into a large and terrifying beast, and what would a tiny creature like him want with a cheetah? Had she been hungry enough, and had she not communicated in the human language with him, he could have easily been her prey.

Any thoughts going through her head at this point were purely feline, as her human conscious had shut down.

The thought that he could be planning a scheme with the hybrid to take away her meal and let her starve to death- even go as far as to eat her crossed her mind. The very thought alone made her sick on her stomach. She knew she wouldn't stand a chance in a two to one battle. She knew the laws of nature- the game of tooth and claw. Once you went down, you didn't get back up. It was that simple.

Shivers wracked her body. She hadn't found her pride, yet... Her siblings and parents and friends... Nor had she went through the coming of age ceremony, or found her life-mate. She didn't want to die. She'd have to be smart about this. Lie. But she had never lied, before. It was against the code of her pride! Lions, perhaps, lied, but cheetahs? They were quite honorable hunters, themselves, you know.

"I have the ability to fight," she responded, trying to choose her words carefully. "I was the most skilled hunting apprentice in my pride." And she did, and she was. She could also run like the wind. She just knew in the back of her mind that she wouldn't last long, and would die fairly quick should the situation come. She prayed she'd survive to this night.
