Nightfur growled as a distant bark of a dog reached her sensitive ears.

"Yes, I feel wretched," Blizzardstar admitted, and her flat voice revealed her disappointment further.

EveningPaw swallowed her mouthful of mouse before she nodded to FrozenPaw. "Yeah. What about you? Do you already have a mentor?" EveningPaw meowed her blue eyes watching FrozenPaw as she hoped he didn't feel the heat emitting from her fur.
Frozenpaw shrugged as he meowed, "Yes, I have Arianclaw, but I can't see him much around camp anymore." His face fell, disappointment creeping to his eyes.
