Miu wandered throughout the store. She was planning on staying awhile, or at least until the inhabitants of the shop returned. Once the Two-Legs came back, well, she would high tail it outta here! She just couldn't risk being in a house again. However, it was warm in here and cold out there, so it was an obvious choice of where she should stay. Smiling to herself, she looked at the teddy bears with glee, leaning forward to let their fuzzy, out-stretched arms tickle her nose.

Hello all. :) Please remember that a maximum of two OOC posts is allowed per page in roleplay threads. If you have something to tell another member, you can either PM them or add a small line of in character content into your post.

    Have a nice day,

"So, you have to move your front paws like this," Slatepaw explained. She raised herself up on her hind paws, balancing expertly and moved her two front paws as if she were paddling in the water. Lowering herself, she waded deeper into the water, feeling the current begin to strengthen. "Now watch closely, okay?" Pushing off from the bank, she delved into the river, going under momentarily before surfacing with her head high and her paws paddling against the water. She used her paws to push her towards the other bank. Sliding out of the water, she stood on the opposite side from Flarekit and shook herself out. "Did you see that?" she called over to him.

    nine/twenty.

Miu's ears pricked and her nose twitched, her head raising to glance around the store. That smell... it was alarming and confusing at the same time. She had grown up with canines, yes, but she had yet to be acquainted with one at a more recent date. Wandering closer to the source of the scent, she looked at the dog curiously. She became even more interested when it began to speak... and she could understand! Forgetting her fear, Miu approached the dog, looking up at its face with wide green eyes. "How come we understand you?"

Carbon rolled over, laying on her side and looking at the tom with an unamused gaze. She was glad he wasn't trying to eat her still, but something about him was familiar. Cocking her head to the side, she asked, "What's your name?"

Coalheart shrugged, flicking his ears. "My point is, you need to stay in your nest. You've already been out in camp, and so I think you should get some sleep now."

    See ya around~!

    ten/twenty.

Miu rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but giggle to herself. Most dogs she had known were pretty dumb, and all they did was bark, eat, and run around all day. But this one was a finely sculpted smartass. Yup, that was pretty much how to describe him. "Well, duh," she meowed in reply. "But how come you speak our language? Shouldn't you be like 'ruff, ruff, yap, yap' and all that?"

    eleven/twenty.

Miu sat down, making herself comfortable. She cocked her head in question, looking up at Ranger with an inquisitive expression. "What's K-9? And what's a cop?"

    oceanpaw.
It was not hard to detect the other cat. Not only was her fur a major giveaway, but Oceanpaw had stopped to scent for prey when the fresh scent of ThunderClan feline brushed against his senses. Glancing around, he rounded a thick tree trunk, his bi-colored eyes glancing across the blanket of snow to meet Astralpaw's gaze. He studied the she-cat, the way her shoulders sagged as if with a great burden. Stepping forward, he cocked his head questioningly, his newfound compassionate nature coming into the light. "Are you alright?" the white tom inquired, a question he seemed to be asking quite often now.

Sunstorm glanced at Timberpaw, giving him a soft smile. "There's no need to be rude now," she meowed kindly, though she was a bit miffed at his annoyed tone. She turned to Stoneclaw and her eyes brightened at the news of his desire to join the ranks of StormClan. "That's nice to hear."

The random scream about a moth amused Augusta even further, and she let out a mirthful burst of laughter. She approached the cats, eyes bright. "You guys are so funny!" she exclaimed, oblivious to the situation at hand.

Semtex... Semtex.. of course! Recognition flitted across Carbon's face and her eyes brightened as she looked over the tom, finally finding the root of the feeling of familiarity. "Hey!" she exclaimed, ears flicking. "You are the kid who was trying to run away!" She laughed to herself, as if she had cracked a joke. "Did you come back?" she asked curiously. "Or did you never leave?"

A light but chilly breeze blew over the pair of felines. It ruffled Miu's fur and she shivered slightly, smoothing down her coat to keep her warm. The winter was fast approaching and she hoped that didn't effect Relapse's healing. "Sure," she meowed, giving a quick nod.

Sunstorm trotted after Timberpaw, not wanting to see her clanmate so riled up. And anyway, she should make amends, since she was one of the helpers in the medicine den. She didn't want things to be awkward when she got back. "Hey," she meowed to him, amber eyes looking him over. "You know, even though Newstar has passed on, that does not mean we have to go into deep mourning forever. Try to find a little happiness whenever and wherever you can, because it helps the pain."
