Crouching slightly, Chell aimed to leap onto Illya's back and drag her claws, hard, down his back. It probably wouldn't do much, but she could at least try, right?

    quadratic --> quadraticus
    rational --> rationalis
    tangent --> tangens
    math --> mathematica
    angle --> angulus
    variable --> variabilis, varius

She had left a small note pinned on the door of the cabin - if anyone tried to ask her where she was going, she would simply redirect them to the piece of paper.

    The Tangens family was created by Clockworkpaw due to her desire to have a family and a lack thereof. Tangens translates from Latin into "tangent:" the family is somewhat math themed, but characters do not have to have maths-themed names.
