Zither strode along the cool grass, her light-ginger coat reflecting the gorgeous beams of the moonlight. Her dark silver eyes shimmered like pools of water & her voice was clear. It was as sweet as the tinkle of bells & as cautious as a flutter of a bird's wings as it prepared to fly away. "Hi," she meowed. "The name's Zither." Her voice was rushed & jumbled, the only part of her showing that she was nervous.

Unimportant relaxed just a bit as she dug her claws into the dirt, letting the memories of a kind voice flood her mind. She felt a sense of bliss as she soul of her brother swirled over her, gifting her peace with the scent of a fresh spring leaf that ruffled her calico coat. "My principles seem to go the same way, except my clan didn't exactly teach me that. What it did teach me, though, is how to take care of myself." Her slender legs were roped with bulky strength. "I am absolutely not scared of you."

"I won't attack you, Ms. Wilderness-Hunter-Survivalist. I'm very sure you have some great big God on your side, but I'm not much afraid fo that. I have plenty of war in my spirit. I don't need anyone to lend it to me. I definitely don't need anyone to bless me. & I certainly don't need anyone at all to guide my paws." She was confident by saying this, wholy believing the words. I guess I will always have my long-lost brother. Well, I suppose I would have, if he were still alive. A breeze snaked through her fur, a breeze that reminded her of the rich smell of poine trees.

She inhaled sharply, her eyes widening a little at the other shecat's outburst. "I was from that clan & I left." She tensed her muscles, ready to spring into battle.

As the Tom ordered them to stop, she relaxed her muscles after a long hesitation. "Alright," she said to him.

"Yes, Sandypaw. If you are an apprentice, I'm not sure you should have your sights on this handsome Tom." Her voice was clear & ringing, her prononciation perfect. Despite her head spinning from being around Kopa, she felt very sharp & in-the-moment.

"Kopa, I really like your name," she murmured, feeling it lift from her tongue.
"Are you a loner like me?" she asked, trying not to show her immediate affection, letting her groomed fur get mussed in the wind.
    "You're a warrior? I didn't know."

"Hello, Silk. I don't think you're intruding anything," murmured Zither.

"I'm a loner as wel, Kopa. & Stay until you wish to leave, I'm sure we all enjoy your company."

"Are you sure?" Uninportant cocked her sleek ivory head, studying the shecat closely. "Forgive me for saying so, but you don't look your greatest." A rush of sympathy crashed over her, making her shake her head & grind her teeth together in annoyance, but eventually look at the shecat nicely. "I want you to know I didn't kill your family. I wouldn't have. Never."
Even as she spoke, her eyes were focused on the Tom. Why did he make her feel like she was floating? This couldn't be normal!

Zither turned briefly to SandyPaw. "Very... Proud of the fact, aren't you?" she commented a bit dryly. Her brilliant white teeth showed just a second in distaste, then turned around very quickly so she wouldn't bring the quick flash of anger any farther.

She was very sensitive about being a loner, as her experience with clans hadn't been the most fortunate of circumstances.

"Um..." Unimportant looked at her with her midnight blue eyes as big as they could possibly get without popping out of her head. "I... Uh.... Didn't know it was that important to you. I'm... Very sorry? But to my credit, I didn't call you bloodthirsty vultures; I called my bloodthirsty vulture-y clan bloodthirsty vultures." A huge yawn interrupted her words & she noticed how her pure white fur seemed to glitter softly in the moonlight.
Great, where exactly am I going to sleep tonight? Not near these cats. Not near the... Tom. They obviously don't want me.

"Seriously, where are you going?" Zither stopped the other cat, twitching her small pink nose. "Like... Are you insulted...? I wasn't trying to say anything rude, just... You know, making sure you really wanted to go."

As she noticed the Tom was a mere five inches away from her, she sharply drew in her breath. Oh, calm down. Not like he would ever like you. He probably already thinks you're a cruel monster.

"Dude! What the heck! I didn't say anything about your accent! Obviously, no one cares! & Stop trying to run away because at one point no one is going to stop you! You're lucky that I did!" She stood in front of the SheCat, finally feeling anger. "I was trying to be nice. & If this is how you overeact, you are unstable & shouldn't be around any cats at all!"

She momentarily forgot about the Tom as she felt rage overtake her, as it often did when she got too mad. At this point, she was unpredictable & possibly violet. Her petite body shook with rage.

"Stop calling me rude & mean!" she screamed. "You ungrateful pile of mousedung! & Don't say you love him, b-because... I love him too!" Shocked at herself, she felt her legs collapse. But before she could, she ran as far away as possible & curled up, shielding herself from the pain. Her stormy midnight-blue eyes shimmered with tears she refused to let spill.
