[br]Owlpaw
[br]
[br]Pelt: brown tabby
Eyes: blue

[br]I am a long furred tom with a cautious gaze and youthful, kit-like features. I am timid around new cats anpawd have trouble trusting anyone fully. Ever since I was a kit, I have been afraid to trust those around me after I was abused by my father. If I ever let someone into my life and become friends with them, it's for life. I would never betray my friends or harm them like my father did to me. I have never fought in a battle, but I fear that I may hesitate to attack if I think of my father and the way he would attack me. My mother left me on the border to the clan my father belonged to and I have never seen her since. My father was convinced that I was the reason she left him and has never forgiven me... :'(

Character Name: Adderfang

Character Age: 14 moons

Gender: Tom

Alliance: Riverclan

Rank: Warrior

Appearance (6 or more sentences)
Adderfang has a soft, sleek, silvery pelt with some charcoal coloured stripes mingled throughout. His paws are of the same grey tint as his stripes and appear quite large. He has vibrant blue eyes with teal flecks around the edges that make his eyes appear bright and mischievous against his silver fur. He has excellent vision and always seems to be flicking his eyes about scanning his surroundings. Unlike his eyes, Adderfang's hearing is not as remarkable. He tends to tune out the world around him and only hear what he wants to. His claws are of average length and he keeps them in prime condition by sharpening them often on trees and rocks. Adderfang has a sturdy, muscular build that makes him appear far more mature than he is. His tail is fairly long and he tends to hold it high and proud with a small kink in the end. His overall posture appears slightly cocky and quite confident.

Personality (6 or more sentences--these sentences form their own section and do NOT count towards the 4 groups below. Those are additional requirements):
Adderfang has a unique personality. His appearance screams confident, egoistic, and proud, though this couldn't be further from the truth. On the inside, Adderfang is actually quite sensitive to criticism and jokes. He can get frustrated or upset quickly and tends to beat himself up about it. Despite this, (And his snappy come-backs) he is a very loyal and devoted young warrior who cares for his clanmates a great deal more than himself. He is determined not to become too close with any she-cats in fear that the same thing that happened to his mother could happen to them. Unfortunately, this makes him come across as the type who believes that females aren't as important or as tough as males. Adderfang is not shy. If he wants his point to be heard, then it will be; though he does not force his opinion on others and always respects their beliefs. Adderfang likes things neat and organised. Messes and dirt do not upset him but he prefers to clean up after himself and his clanmates to create an enjoyable environment. Adderfang does not particularily enjoy fighting but does possess some skill in it. He would prefer to settle arguments through debates and peaceful means if possible.

History (8 or more sentences): Adderfang's mother, Tawnysoul, died giving birth to him and his sister during leaf-bare. His father, Greyscar, has always blamed Adderfang for Tawnysoul's death and has admitted his hatred for his son to his clan. In fact, when Adderfang was born, his father named him Deathkit to give him a constant reminder of what he had done to Tawnysoul. When Adderfang had just turned three moons old, his father took his sister with him and left the clan, never to be seen again. Adderfang is now fourteen moons old and has not had any news of where his family disappeared to. Although he grew up without his real family, the queens of his clan did their best to raise him. This was a difficult task as Adderfang has always been extremely curious and adventurous. There have been many times where he has snuck out of camp at a young age to go exploring and gotten into trouble. The most significant adventure he had, and the adventure that changed his name from Deathkit to Adderkit, was when he went out to play on some large rocks out in the forest, and ended up being attacked by an adder. He managed to kill the adder at only four moons of age and bring it back to camp. He enjoyed the fuss that was made over him and returned to the rocks to catch another snake. By the time he was six moons old and able to become an apprentice, he had caught three adders. His naming ceremony was slightly different than a usual ceremony because not only did he get his apprentice name, but he was renamed Adderpaw instead of his previous, cruel name. His mentor's name was Pantherclaw. Pantherclaw was a quiet mentor and didn't have much of a sense of humour, but trained Adderfang to be a brave and intelligent warrior. Other than his mentor, Adderfang did not have any best friends or memorable relationships. Cats didn't talk much to him, and he didn't talk much to them.

Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio): Adderfang crept stealthily down the smooth slope of a rock. His eyes narrowed in on a deep crack in the base of the rock near the sandy ground. Ever so slowly, he moved closer to the crack. In an instant, he stopped. He crouched dead-still on the edge of the rock, tail tip twitching, as a lithe snake began to emerge from deep within the crack. Unaware of it's silent watcher, the snake slid casually from it's den into the cool, crisp air. Hardly daring to breathe, Adderfang waited for the snake to move far enough from the rock for him to pounce. Further... further... almost there..... and that was it! Adderfang bunched up his muscles and hurled himself off the rock directly at the unsuspecting prey below...

Comments (optional): Thanks for reading :)

Adderfang sniffs around the reed-bed searching for a good place to fish, when he sees Windvoice perched on the riverside several tail-lengths away. He pads up quietly behind her and sits down next to her. "Hey, what are you up to?" he asks as he watches their reflections dance around in the water.

Adderfang jumps back from the river in annoyance. He growls to himself as he shakes off the water from his fur and whiskers. He examines Rainwhisker with a look of distaste on his face, "How kind of you to join us, Rainwhisker. I just love getting soaking wet" he huffs jokingly before continuing to lick his fur dry.

Adderfang plunged into the undergrowth in search of prey. He'd been hunting and patrolling all day with his clanmates and needed some alone time. Once he slipped beneath the lowest branches of the bushes, his stress began to fade. His ears pricked up and all of his senses were alert in the hunt. Before long, he spotted a mouse scrabbling among some grass and leaves and dispatched it with one swift blow. Satisfied, he scraped earth over the little brown body until he was ready to collect it. As he lifted his head to scent for more, he smelled something different; a cat. Cautiously, he moved towards the scent until he could make out the faint sounds of the cat creeping through the grass. His mischevious blue eyes locked onto the figure as he tried to decide how to approach her.

"What do you mean? The fish are gone?" Came Adderfang's meow from behind Seashine as he padded up curiously to the river's edge to peer into the dark, teal-blue water. She's right... he thought to himself in amazement, The water is completely still... Not even the ripple of a fish swimming by... How strange. "It's so... quiet." he mews.

of No Clan
[br]
[br]Pelt: blue smoke
Eyes: green

[br]I am a scarred tom with deep, thoughtful eyes and sharply pointed ears with small tufts on the tips. I am not the most social of cats but I am very protective and caring. I almost always have a way of being two steps ahead of most other cats.
[br]I come from a long line of loners who have always lived wild and by our wits and strength.

"It's just so weird, what do you think could have caused this?.." he meows quietly. For some reason Adderfang felt as if there was a silent atmosphere around them without the sounds of the steady flow of the river and it felt strange to speak loudly and disrupt it.

Adderfang realised he'd been heard; so he ducked low in the grass, hardly daring to breath, until the cat had turned around. "That was close..." he breathed as he peered up and over the grass to relocate the cat. His eyes scanned the grass thoughtfully until he saw a flicker of movement several tail-lengths ahead. He began to make a stealthy pursuit of the cat when he thought to himself, It's just one cat; one against one. Why bother sneaking up? Going against his natural instincts to catch her off-guard, he stood up straight and began to pad after her with his usual confident, loping stride.

[br]Jaia
of No Clan
[br]
[br]Pelt: Tortoiseshell
Eyes: blue

[br]I am a soft pelted she-cat with mysterious eyes and a long, graceful tail. Ever since my mother was killed I am afraid of confrontations and do anything to avoid a fight, but I am never afraid to say what I feel when I have to. I love all cats and I am a peace-maker at heart.
[br]I was the runt of my litter, but I am smart and clever. My mother was killed by rogues and so I have been living with a loner named Deko who treats me as his little sister.

Adderfang slowed down slightly, he'd decided that he wasn't in the mood for a chase so he'd better be careful. He scanned the area around them, checking for any locations the cat would plan to escape through and found nothing useful other than the grass behind him. He then examined the cat staring at him with a fearful gleam in her eyes. She's female. he thought to himself, She doesn't look very big... or atleast, not to me. I wonder who she is... Why is she here? Determined to find answers to all of his questions, he padded up to her. "Why hello there" he purred, "What would you be doing here on this fine evening?"
