Hadleigh threw her head back and laughed. " Listen here, buddy. There's only three cops in this town. Woops, I mean there was only three cops. Wanna know who ate them? " she smiled sweetly and pointed to herself. " The people won't notice. This is a tiny little out-in-the-middle-of-no-where low population town. I'll have the entire population wiped by the end of the week. Not a single other person in the world will care. This town's existance is unnoticed as it is, without anybody living here it will be merely invisible. " she smiled and crossed her legs.

Hadleigh scoffed. " Too mature. " she muttered to herself. " You seem-- what's the word? Uptight, yeah. Let loose, have some fun!!! And I do not gorge myself. Neither am I fat. I only get to be like this in tiny unnoticable towns, and I jump at the chance. " he said, standing up and walking in the other direction.

Hadleigh rolled her eyes at Oliver's comment. She stepped around her friends and reached down to the pack sitting by her 'bed'. She shoved the rest of her worn clothes in it then gently grabbed the golden locket that sat under the bunched up jacket that served as her pillow. She pulled her arms through the jacket and held the locket up to her eyes. It was simple, a woven golden chain with a small charm in the shape of a seashell. She pulled it around her neck and hooked it together in the back. Her mother had told her that she'd gotten it from her father. She'd never known him, but she knew her mother was nicer and happier with him, so he was probably a pretty decent guy, if he hadn't left them maybe. Hadleigh sighed and turned back to her friends. Luke came up behind her patted her shoulder. " Be back for dinner, Haddie. " he said, and she scowled. " Since when have we ever eaten dinner? " she asked, then hugged him. She turned back to her friends. " All ready. " she said.

Hadleigh nodded and made her way to the entrance of the cave-like compartment, pushing through the guys and leading her friends. She reached the entrance and peered out into the tunnel, making sure she couldn't see or hear any subway trains. She deemed it safe and lept down next to the tracks, keeping close to the wall and motioning for her friends to follow her.

Hadleigh nodded, agreeing with him. " Here, let me see your wrist. " she said, reaching forward and gently taking his wrist. She peered at it, deciding it was broken and dropped her hands. " Hold on a second. " she told him, then walked over to the railing, pulling off two small metal rods that wouldn't be missed. She walked back over to him and pulled an old shirt out of her pack and ripping the sleeves off. She set the rods and the ripped shirt at her feet and gently took his wrist again. She took one of the metal rods and held it parallel with his wrist, reaching down and ripping the shirt in half again, and wrapping it securely and tying it tightly around his wrist and the rod. She held the other rod parallel with the other side of his wrist and wrapped the rest of the shirt the same way, tying it off tightly. " There, should serve as a pretty good cast until we reach this camp. " she smiled slightly.

Hadleigh climbed the ladder and helped Felix up after so his wrist wouldn't get any more hurt, smirking as she did so. She looked at Elisa. " Then why do half the people on this planet say it? It ain't in the dictionary, but that doesn't mean it's not a word. " she snickered, heading towards the stairs leading up to New York.

Ooc: They're all going up to the city so Hadleigh can hot-wire a car and drive to the camp.

Ic: Hadleigh snickered. Since she grew up entirely poor and living in a dirt tunnel, she could be considered something of a criminal. But only out of survival. So yeah, she'd picked up a few skills like lockpicking and hot-wiring cars. Covert things like that.

Hadleigh shivered once they reached the top and nodded. She wrapped her arms around her torso. " I f-feel it too. D-does anyone see an unoccupied c-car? " she stuttered, her teeth chattering. " Preferably one in g-good enough shape to have h-heating. "

Hadleigh smiled and slid into the drivers seat. " Thanks, " she said as she passed him. She ducked down under the dash and pried off the panel, squinting and pulling out the red and blue wires. She cut through them easily with her nails and rubbed the copper ends together until there was a spark and the car hummed to life. She smiled to herself and sat back up. She leaned her head out the window and smiled at her friends. " Get in losers, we're going shopping. " she teased, smirking. She turned the heat on and switched the radio to 96.5, turning up the volume.

Hadleigh shrugged, shifting the gears and driving down the street towards Long Island Sound. " Mess with the buttons; it might only get am/fm. " she said. Some crazy driver swerved in front of them and she pressed on the brakes, managing not to kill them all, and pressed furiously on the horn. She rolled down the window and stuck her head out. " Hey, maybe you should've thought about the last couple of beers before you got behind the wheel of a car!!! " she shouted, adding a string of curses to her yell before sitting back down in her seat and rolling her window up. " God, I hate people. " she muttered under her breath.
