Hadleigh looked up, the tears stopping, and scrambled forward. She grabbed his hand. " No!! Please don't leave!!! I.... I need you, " she said, pleading him with her eyes.

Hadleigh's eyes widened. " No I don't!!! I never said that!!!! I just.... I don't want to be like them. I absolutely loathe that man for doing this to me.... I just want to be normal... " she whimpered.

Hadleigh felt tears prick the corners of her eyes, but she willed them back. " I know, but I can't help wishing there was!!! I just don't want to turn out a monster like him!!!! I can't do anything about it either, so why are you getting mad at me? " she yelled back at him.

Hadleigh sat up and stared at Oliver, eyes wide. " You mean... You've heard them too? " she asked.

Hadleigh sank down to the ground and curled up in a ball, tears flowing silently. Her entire body shook, burying her face in her arms. " I let this happen... " she sobbed.

" Mine tells me where to go.... Sometimes it'll say to take a different route home, or sometimes after I get in a fight, it will say ' go to the water, Hadleigh. ' " she said.

Hadleigh shook her head, confused. " Mine tells me the water is home... " she muttered.

Hadleigh stood up warily, staring at the man. " Woah... And, who are you? " she asked.

Hadleigh stood up and sniffed, wiping the tears away. She was going to find the man that did this and make sure he never breathed again, even if she died in the process. She walked to the edge of the woods, then ran, not stopping even when she heard howls nearby. She just pumped her arms faster when she heard the thud of massive paws behind her, running so fast she was nearly a blur.

(( yeah. I messaged her, but it was awkward and..., yeah. If she doesn't reply or anything, I guess we can just go back to right after Hadleigh introduced herself to Troy. ))

(( haha, Hadleigh's gonna have a crush on Felix, sorta how Annabeth was with Luke :] ))

Ic: Hadleigh's eyes widened, then she stepped forward and helped him to his feet. " I'm Hadleigh, by the way, " she said, smiling shyly.

Hadleigh bit her lip and shook his hand. " Felix... That's a nice name, " she smiled. Luke came up behind her with all the other guys, snickering. " Real smooth, Haddie. " he placed his hand on her shoulder and used his little nickname for her, snickering more. She scowled and brought her elbow back into his stomach, hard. " Shut up. " she hissed as he stepped away from her.

Hadleigh sighed and sat down on the other side of the bench. She brushed her golden curls out of her face as the wind shifted. She sighed and reste her head on the back of the bench. " I'm so bored. There's absolutely nothing to do in this tiny town... " she complained. Hadleigh was tired of this small town. Besides, the cops were bound to notice the bloody, drained bodies she'd happily feasted on.

Hadleigh sighed, then inhaled through her nose. She nudged Troy with her ankle lightly. " Girl, roughly seventeen, heading east through the woods just south of us. Near a small house, that smells like it may be occupied. " she said, her eyes still closed. " You hungry? " she grinned evilly, opening one eye to look at him.

(( umm, just a reminder, maybe: we're all kinda underground. In a subway tunnel. ))

Hadleigh looked away from Felix and turned to Elisa. " You've been pretty quiet. What do you think we should do? " she asked, her eyes flicking to the weird hobo guy, to Felix, then back to her.

Hadleigh growled slightly. She sat up and turned her red gaze to him. " I am not a careless hunter. I toy with my food, then the body's never seen again. I always go after the ones that are isolated, that don't have very many relations if any relations at all. I've got it all down to a science, you see. " she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and turning away from him. " Careless hunter... " she muttered to herself, rolling her eyes.
