Aurai was shocked at his kind words, she'd never been asked that question
after intruding on another's territory. " Well, a little. Are you sure you can spare? I can always
hunt tomorrow." She said slowly. She didn't want to be rude, after all, he hadn't torn her to
pieces. "I'm Aurai." She added, "-what's your name?"

" I'd love too. -But I believe there are more important matters
at stake." Styx reached over and gently grabbed the small kit's scruff. "Let's
get you all fixed up." She murmured through a mouthful of fur. "See ya."
She turned to walk away, careful not to be rough with the kit.

Styx ignored his comment and headed towards her den. It wasn't
very far away, a small crook in a rock wall that opened up into a warm cave-like den.
Many of the tunnels she hadn't even explored. She slipped trough, trying to be as
gentle as possible. She layed the broken she kit on her moss bed. "Here. No one will
get you as long as I'm around." She said somewhat to herself. "Now I'll need to see
how badly your hurt."

She blinked, what they did was horrible. Styx shook her head sadly,
"Can you tell me what hurts the most?" She murmured softly.

Aurai smiled slightly, "Okay." Maybe he isn't so bad after all. She
thought, standing. "You can lead the way." Her tail twitched curiously, "Thanks...
I really don't know what to say." Her eyes were bright again, no one she'd met
had so quickly been so kindhearted to her before...

Styx sighed, looking over her inventory. All she had was some poppy seeds.
"Can't talk yet, huh? Well.. lets start with these. " She scooped up some of the small black
seeds, pushing them towards the kits mouth. " These with soothe the pain and make you
a little calmer okay?" She whispered, "Now... what shall I call you?"

She sprinted after him, trying to keep up. Aurai laughed, " I love the rain!"
She carried on behind him, enjoying every moment. Her fur repelled the water
like a duck's feathers, making her look slippery more than just soaked.
"I wonder if he even likes me." Cascade murmured to herself.
She didn't know he was following her. The mouse ahead attempted
to run, but she sprang at it, sinking her claws into it's soft body.

Styx noticed the kit's sudden behavior, her eyes shinning with excitement.
"I think I'll call you Breeze." She smiled, curling her tail over the kit.
"It suits you perfectly."

She watched him in awe. Aurai jumped after him, trying to
retrace his leaps. Her long legs made up for her smallness when it came
to jumping. Nearly missing the third jump, she scrambled after him. He
must have lived here all his life, She figured. Her gaze traveled around
the caves, it was amazing.

Whoever did this to you better not come back, cause' I'll
have their ears if they do, She thought sternly. Styx drew
her tongue over Breeze's head, whoever did this would pay.
Cascade jumped back, dropping her mouse in surprise. "Dallas?"
She asked, turning around, "Oh.. don't sneak up on me like that!" She
snapped, playfully cuffing his ear. She gently picked up the mouse,
"I've got something for you."

Styx let out a happy purr. She'd fetch more herbs in the morning.
She wouldn't dare leave the kit alone with that strange tom about.
"You'll be good as new before you know it."

Cascade jumped back, dropping her mouse in surprise. "Dallas?"
She asked, turning around, "Oh.. don't sneak up on me like that!" She
snapped, playfully cuffing his ear. She gently picked up the mouse,
"I've got something for you."

She watched the kit fall into a peaceful sleep.
Styx rested her tail on her paws, determined to stay awake through the night.

Aurai stared at the poor creature, "Oh... It's very nice. Thank you."
She nibbled daintily at the now dead rabbit, "Would you like some?" She offered,
willing to share. "-Or have you eaten already?"

"Thanks for the offer, but I couldn't be less tired." Aurai laughed.
She couldn't wait to see more. She took another bite of the rabbit,
her expression cheerful.

Cascade blushed slightly, "Thanks..."
She leaned forward and licked his nose, " I'm so glad
I found you." She murmured. She looked away feeling
embarrassed.
Cascade looked at him sadly, she knew she had fallen for him.
This time she didn't push him away, or threaten to claw his face.
