Hey, can I join in?

Deep in a desert-like area, a single cat was looking for a place to call home. She wasn't sure if this dry, powdery land would make a good place for a new Clan. Suddenly, she found the perfect place for Clan territory. Farther from the forest lies a dusty area with lush green spots dotted here and there. PowderClan is not complete yet, but it will be soon. It is new, but it will be powerful.

Sandgaze stared lovingly at her nursing kit. Moonkit had fluffy silver-gray fur with darker gray paws. Sandgaze gave her a vigorous lick, making Moonkit mewl impatiently. She'll become a great warrior
Snakesoul thought as she looked enviously at her sister. How she wished she had a kit, but it would take time away from her duties as a warrior.

Moonkit was 3 moons old, so Sandgaze was showing her around the camp. She spotted Icepaw and smiled. "Look, Moonkit. You're going to be an apprentice soon, just like Icepaw" "Wow," Moonkit mewed in awe.

sandgaze overheard what Fernfur said, her eyes wide with shock. HorrorClan has SLAVES?!?!? But she knew that was a matter to discuss later. She decided that Moonkit was old enough to taste solid food, so she picked up a mouse and carried it back to the nursery.

Sandgaze was delighted to see that Moonkit enjoyed the mouse and tried to practice her hunting. on the first try, though, she tumbled over and got her fur dirty and ruffled. Sandgaze quickly licked her clean, then she continued to watch Moonkit do the hunter's crouch repeatedly, asking every now and then if she was doing it right. "You're doing it perfectly, my sweet." Sandstorm said. Moonkit purred with satisfaction. "I'm going to be the best warrior there is!" she mewed.

Sandgaze padded over and sat down, shushing Moonkit, who was squealing excitedly. "Listen," Sandgaze meowed to her. "Fear is going to make an announcement. "Okay," Moonkit replied. Sandstorm gave her a quick lick before sitting still to listen.
