Winter had camouflaged herself completely into the tree. She headed to the dagger throwing station, wiping the paint off her face but still leaving her neck down in tree bark paint. She picked up a dagger and threw it with a flick of her wrist. It twirled in the air before landing right where the dummy's eye would have been.

Winter grabbed her dagger. Not very good with it. Better with darts. She went to the dart simulation. They weren't the real poison darts, just metal empty ones. But good enough to train with. She used the blower and blew them at the dummy. Landing five of them in the right leg and one in the middle of the chest.

Winter went to the poisonous bugs and plants station. She investigated some bugs. All very large and deadly, except for a few. She went over the plants a couple times.

Winter started up the climbing wall. Easing her way onto the ceiling net. She crawled across, looking at the tributes training below. She hung in the net.

Featherwish sat at the river, helplessly trying to catch a fish. She gazed at the water. She sighed, not wanting fish anyways. Clouds were forming in the sky above her. She frowned. Rain came pelting down, soaking her from head to tail-tip. She shivered violently, running to find shelter.

This is her but she's scrawny.

Featherwish jumped when she saw him, but she didn't run. Her green eyes shone bright against her wet pelt.

"Hey Kat." Winter said, still hanging from the ceiling.

She swung across and slid down a pole. She dropped onto the floor and walked over."So, you're with a new crew now?"

"Oh, uh, I'm Featherwish." she mewed, teeth chattering.

"Hmm, and so you're saying we can't fight. We can't win this thing because our districts are lower than yours. Because your districts have kids that want to go into the Hunger Games! We are all fighting for our lives here. We would be plenty better allies than those shameful beings over there. Thay would kill you if you did one thing wrong. They don't hesitate to kill Kat."

Winter sighed and frowned. She jogged after her.

Winter continued after her."Kat! I didn't mean it like that, I'm sorry."

Winter stopped and sighed. Great, a new enemy for the arena. And that person was a district 2 tribute that had been training all her life. She turned around and headed back to training.

"N-nothing, just trying to get somewhere warm." she said, teeth chattering from the cold rain that drenched them.

Featherwhisper sighed and looked at the clouds."What a beautiful day huh Creamnose."

Eveningpaw poked her head out of the apprentices' den. She spotted Opaquekit by the nursery entrance. She quickly padded over and silently whispered,"What are you doing out here?"

Winter left training and went back to her room. She had a shower and changed into a light knee-length green dress with a black belt below the chest. She slept until dinner and made her way to the table of mashed potatoes and gravy, roast beef, chicken, lamb stew and sides of exotic fruits and vegetables.

"Good to know." She said through clenched teeth. She put her fork down and walked back to her room.
