OOC: I guess so. Sadly, my lil' advertisement entitled, "LARGE PREDATOR NEEDED" brought in no foxes (or badgers or dogs or any other large mammal.) So let's just RP without another person.

IC: Scorpiana listened in awe as Shark told about his life. Beaches, sand, sharks, all this new information was making her head spin. Shaking her head as if to clear her thoughts, Scorpiana said, "Wow... That's amazing! I wish I could get out and see the world, but I'd be so lonely..." the smokey black she-cat scooted closer to Shark. "I've got no family... my parents left, no siblings, no kits, no mate... I'm alone in this world." she whispered, gazing off into the distance. She normally wasn't this open, but she felt safe and secure around Shark... she hadn't felt this way before. She had no name for it. No, she had a name for it was... it was... love.

I think both are alright, although according to 'The List' there already is an Emberkit - not sure what clan. I'd do Amethystkit just to be safe.

ooc: I'm a ready for a new thread!

IC: "Loganpaw..." Loganpaw muttered to Cobrastep before turning back to Ivyheart. Cobrastep kinda freaked him out! Loganpaw listened as Ivyheart told him that they were going to learn hunting while they were out. "Great, let's go!" he meowed when she was done. He wasn't so keen on the idea of Cobrastep coming, but - hey - beggers can't be choosers.

ooc: It's not like I don't like you dawn, it's just... Cobrastep freaks my lil' apprentice out! EDIT: K then, thread closed. Loganpaw - OUT! :P

Loganpaw saw the two warriors slip through the trees ahead of him, and Loganpaw leaped after them. They seemed to glid through the trees, their pelts flashing in one place - then gone - then they would appear in another. Loganpaw tried his best to keep up, but his short apprentice legs could barely keep the other cats in view. Panting, he finally reached the destination. "I'm here! I made it!" Loganpaw huffed into view, his sides rising and falling in rhythm with his breathing. "Where are we?" he asked, his breathing now under control.

OOC: Gosh, Candy! Watcha trying to do, ditch him? SHEESH! XD Yes, this will be interesting. I've been in a few hunting threads - but not with an apprentice who's as cordinated as a three-legged badger!

Loganpaw smiled. "It's alright." he meowed. Facing Cobrastep he added, "I could have. But guess what? YOU WERE TO FAR AHEAD." smiling, Loganpaw listened as Ivyheart showed him the Sky Oak. Loganpaw's mouth fell open in amazement. "It's - It's so BIG!" he meowed, gazing up at the huge leafy branches. "I bet you could climb all the way to Starclan using this!" after a moment's hesitation he added, "Can I try?"

Sorry, but I got another mentor... I'm sorry... :(

"I'm ready!" Loganpaw meowed, his eyes once again gleaming with excitement. "Is it like this?" Loganpaw dropped down into his impression of a hunter's crouch. His bottom was stuck way up into the air, and he was all off balance.

Loganpaw watched his mentor's demonstration before trying again. This time, his weight was more evenly distrubeted, and his bottom was lower. He was still a little off balance, but not so that he was tripping over his own paws. Loganpaw heard the scuffling of a mouse over in some ferns, and his tail shot up in surprise. "Mouse!" his eyes lit up, and his tail flew up like a flag.

ooc: I'd just wait until I've learned the hunting basics, then re-join. Sigh... it's sad. I'm learning what I already know. XD

"Ok, Ivyheart!" Loganpaw stalked the mouse, his hindquarters wriggling, and his tiny pink tongue stuck out in concentration. When he was a fox-length away, he pounced, and pinned the mouse to the ground. "I got it! I got it!" he exclaimed, unsure of what to do next. The mouse wriggled beneath his paws, and it made Loganpaw giggle.

Loganpaw nodded to Ivyheart, and bent down to bite the mouse's neck. The mouse gave a startled 'squeak' and wriggled out from underneath Loganpaw's paws. "Drat!" Loganpaw said, and raced after the mouse.

Loganpaw raced after the mouse, weaving through trees and bushes. He could still see it scrabbling around in front of him, but it was almost out of reach. Yowling, he leaped forwards, attempting to pin the mouse. It darted away however, and Loganpaw skidded to a halt. His sides heaving, his pelt spattered with debris, and his tail down, he padded back to the Sky Oak.

ooc: Yea, sorry. :C If you want, Ivyheart could order Loganpaw back to camp or something like that. After all, he could have been killed! XD

Loganpaw looked up at his mentor. "Really?" he asked. "That makes me feel a lot less stupid! Thanks." Loganpaw smiled warmly at Ivyheart.

The two arrived back at the Sky Oak, ready for somemore hunting. "You go now." the little apprentice said. "We have to take some kind of fresh-kill home." Without waiting for an answer, Loganpaw sat down on a rock and gestured for Ivyheart to go on.

Loganpaw watched as Cobrastep waltzed back over to them. "I can't understand you, feather mouth." he meowed teasingly. For some reason he just did not like this cat!

Loganpaw sniffed. "What's that smell?" he asked the two older cats. A new cat stepped out. "Oh. A cat." DUH! his mind shouted at him.

Cobrastep was annoyed. Go figure. "Eh, it was fine. Lost the mouse and bumped into Ivyheart on the way back. You?"Loganpaw turned away from Cobrastep and nodded to Emeraldglare."'Sup. I'm Loganpaw." he meowed. He watched Ivyheart stalk the thrush, and mimicked her movements. Another paw-step... he thought. Loganpaw leaped, and the vole darted away, straight into Emeraldglare's paws. "Argh! Get it, get it!" he meowed.

Ignoring Cobrastep's rude comment, Loganpaw said, "Bye, Cobrastep! See ya' tomorrow!" Loganpaw smiled. Not even a day as an apprentice, and he had already made a warrior mad. Nice he thought privetly.

"I'm sorry, Oh great one." Loganpaw said, his eyes gleaming with laughter.

>OOC: Hey Dawn, if you want you can attack Loganpaw. Nothing serious, just something to show him a little respect for his warriors.<

Loganpaw bit back a sharp retort. He decided it was best not to push Cobrastep to far... after all it was only his first day. Loganpaw dropped his tail, and meowed, "Sorry, Cobrastep." he waited until Cobrastep had relaxed his gaze before muttering- barely audible - "Yep, he's got a problem."

>OOC: Oh my god, don't kill him! (Please, tackle him, but no de-tailing.) XD - Why did I put a happy face? Oh, sorry for the flooding... It got a little tense. Disipline needed, I assume?

Loganpaw watched as Cobrastep ran back to camp. "Sorry, Ivyheart." he meowed. "I'm a really great apprentice, aren't I?" smiling grimly, Loganpaw glanced up. The sky was darkening, and Silverpelt was begining to shine.

Loganpaw nodded quietly. He waited for Ivyheart to collect her thrush before heading back to camp.

ooc: Anyways, I dunno. I'll PM Stream and Wild. Anyone else wanting to join is welcome... preferably toms, I think we've got enough she-cats. :)

Edit: Alrighty, I PM'ed them. I doubt Stream will join, but Wild's cat might. Wild hasn't been on since Oct. 10th (Sat.) though. Stream was on today.
