More rumors? Who was this Rainpath dude? Ruffles decided to get to know him - he was obviously hiding something. "More rumors?" She asked, genuinely surprised that she hadn't already heard them. "...Like?" Murder, incest, adultry... The list of possible crimes reeled off inside her little skull.

So any idea when the kits are going to be born? :3

"No!" Ruffles immediately retorted, her brow scrunching up. "S'like... A rumor is something that might be true - you just can't, like, prove it. Y'know?" Oh, she had better know what a rumor was. She created a vast majority of them herself. Now, turning to Rainpath, she said, "So, care to share?"

Ruffles's head snapped over to look at Elixor. "Huh?" She asked, not clear on what he had said. Then she heard a bit of rustling - very faint, but still there. Even she, not the brightest bulb in the box, knew prey wasn't going to wander into their mouths like it had. And it couldn't be much bigger than a serval by the way it was stepping - light and soft rather than the heavy padding of, say, a husky dog.

A quick look backwards confirmed her thoughts - it was just another cat. His fur was stark white and easy to pick out amongst the new buds of new-leaf. She looked him over for a moment, then shifted her gaze back to Elixor.

The innocent grin that had plastered itself onto Ruffles' melted into one of disappointment with the tom's words. She bit her lip and looked to the left, trying to think of a halfway decent lie that would still get Rainpath to talk. "Umm.. well," She mused, her amber eyes darting back to the group every now and then.

"'Cause I just want to get to know you better?" She said - or more acurately - asked. "Yeah, that's it! I'm trying to know the cats around me better, so that if we're caught in an ambush or something, I know they'll have my back." Yeah... complete lie there. Ruffles didn't give mice droppings about other cats - except maybe her latest crush - and wouldn't fight if the world depended on it. But it sounded convincing... hopefully.

Tinderpaw, by now, was awake enough to notice the littler things going on around camp. He felt a pairs of eyes watching him, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. "Hey, do you guys feel like... weird?" He asked, casting a cursory glance towards the shadows of the forest. Maybe there was someone here, like a rouge! Then again it could, and probably was, just a feeling.

I'm interested in Koi... do you have any additional information on her? Does she have any friends, family, enemies, etc?

I'm also going to have to read some of the Tribe of Rushing Water rules, but I can get to those on my own. ^^

You don't have to just roleplay cats here either - there's always the horse, farm animal, wolf, dog, bear, and non-cat roleplay boards. :) Or you can create a free roleplay thread and roleplay just about whatever you want!
