Lightning searched for the mouse she had spotted earlier.

Upon finding the mouse, Lightning dropped to a crouch, but had difficulty hinding due to the openness of the room.

The mouse, having spotted Lightning, tried to dash back to it's hole, but Lightning was quicker.

Lightning slammed her paws on the mouse, giving it a nip on the neck to finish it off.

Finished with the mouse, Lightning licked her jaws and sat up, peering around.

Finished grooming, she decided that some water would be nice. A row of empty cages lined the far wall, dishes full of water inside.

She dashed to the water, lapping it up. Lightning nearly gagged at the foul taste.

She licked her lips in an attempt to rid the taste.

An odd whirring began, so she went to investigate.

Lightning bounded through the room, looking for the course of the noise.

She came to the conclusion that it was a vent type thing.

Cold air rushed at her face as she peered over the vent.

The air felt nice compared to the humidity outside. It was bound to start raining soon .

Lightning laid down near the vent, eyes drooping.

Lightning soon fell asleep, dreams bounding across her mind.

When Lightning woke up, the soft patter of rain could be heard.

Lightning watched through the broken glass rain stream steadily harder to the ground.

Once the rain subsided, Lightning went outside to a puddle.
