She smiled and ran out into the forest and caught three mice, she was about to head back when she ran into a warrior. He was growling at her.

The warrior growled. "Hand over the kits" he said. "No!" she snapped. He attacked her and clawed her and smirked, "Ill be back with more warriors". He left, she laid on the ground, bleeding badly. She stood up shakily

She looked at them, she was still bleeding. "I wont let them get you, alright? But you have to trust me"

She smiled. "Good, now, get some rest. We have to move tomorrow" She led them into the cave

She had a idea on how to get milk. She quickly jumped onto a twolegs window and mewed. The twoleg came out and laid a bowl of milk on the front porch. She quickly grabbed the bowl and brought it back to Hopekit

She smiled. "Drink it up, we have a big day ahead"

She waited till they finished. "come, follow me" she said as she walked out of the cave

They walked for hours, it became night and the full moon shown. A blizzard begun, ice and snow falling down on them

"Keep going, were almost there"

She got to the den, she led them in

"Go to sleep now,you've had a big day"

She was just about to fall asleep when a cat walked in, his teeth bared and his claws unsheathed

She stood in front of the kits, guarding them

She growled. "Leave us alone!!"

The warrior grabbed Hopekit by the scruff

The warrior quickly shook him off, making him land on his back

The warrior threw Hopekit against the wall, being attacked by the spirits. He threw her very hard, she began to bleed

The warrior died, She ran over to Hopekit. "Are you alright?!"

"I..Im sorry..."

"I tried to!..." she gave a sad sigh and padded out
