Sunpaw scented the air. She smelled rabbit immediatly. She dropped in the hunter's crouch. It was a fat rabbit. She stalked right up to it and ponced, killing it with a nip to the back of the neck.I'm so gonna win, she thought to herself.

Sunpaw kept padding farther into the forest. I know, she thought to herself.If I can catch a eagle, or a hawk, i can win AND become a warrior! The ultimate Win!!!! She stalked forward, scenting the air. She caught the scent of eagle almost immediatly. She stalked forward and climber a tree until she could see the bird circling tightly above her. Suddently it dived. Sunpaw saw the target. A young mouse. She tensed ready to leap. As the eagle grabbed the mouse in it's talons, Sunpaw leaped. She landed on both of the eagle's wings. She struggled to keep her grip as the eagle trying to take off. She opened her jaws and sunk her teeth into the back of the eagle's neck. The eagle's trashing was getting waeker and weaker, until Sunpaw couldn't feel it moving any more. Then she heard the heart beat stop. Wait until Thunderpaw gets a load of THIS catch, she said, draggind it into the trees.

Shimmerpaw didn't hesitate, but charged her mentor, trying to head butt her in the chest. At the last minute, she leaped over her, spun on two hind legs, and tried to knock her mentor's hind legs from under her.

Dawnwhisker padded into the clearing carrying prey in his jaws.

"Hi Cougarkit! I'm Dawnkit! Want to be friends?" she asked hopefully.

Lighningsrike purred. "And you think they won't have yours? They'll have our smarts and skills as well. They'll be purfect!"

Braveheart padded after Fleckpelt. "So where are we going?"

"So what do you want to play?" she asked Cougarkit.

Shimmerpaw purred, welcoming Minnowpelt's praise. Then she looked at Ivywind. "Did I do okay? Are you hurt?"

Lillyspark wrapped her tail proudly around her apprentice. Then she gazed at her friends. She was a MENTOR!!!

Sunpaw burst threw the tree and yowled tryumphantly at Thunderpaw. "I won! Not only did i catch a rabbit, but i also-" she stopped. She had just got a look at Thunderpaw's eagle. A smug look crossed her face. "What a cowincidence!" She ran into the forest and came back carring her eagle, clamped firmly in her jaws. "I caught an eagle too!!!!"

Ripplefeateher padded up to Lilllfeather. "Hey."

Flintfang padded up to his favorite spot. He loved to just sit there and think. But when he padded up, another she'cat was already there. "Umm...hello. What are you doing here?" he asked.

Shimmerpaw purred even harder at her mentor's praise. "Thanks. What should we try now?"
