"It happens to me every few moons," Carizette mewed dismissively, settling next to Cinder. "ButI'm not sure why they didn't do anything." She wrinkled her nose at the foul smell of the monster as it moved.

"I was digging," she answered dryly. "Why are you here, in my cemetery?" She padded up to him, looking at the tom with cold copper eyes.
-
"I guess..." she conceded, looking at Cinder before nosing one of his forepaws gently. "Will you be okay?"
-
She sighed gloomily. "No, it is okay," she assured, "It's nice to see a living cat for once." It started to drizzled. "Follow me." She slipped off gracefully into the fog.
-
"Home," she threw over her shoulder vaguely, stopping so the tom could catch up. She glanced up at the cracked stone wall of her den before slipping into the mausoleum. Against the far wall, a twoleg coffin stood, dark and shadowy. In front of it, old bones from several kinds of animals were strewn carelessly. In the middle of the macabre sight, an ancient, dried out nest housed a curled cat skeleton. The she cat padded up to it and nosed it affectionately.
-
"Very," she murmured, sitting with her tail curled over her paws. She saw the tom's curious glances but decided to ignore it. "What's your name?" She asked, cocking her head to one side.
-
"Death," she stated flatly. The rain outside worsened until it was pouring, andsome of the water leaked into the otherwise dry mausoleum.
-
Her eyes sparkled with amusement at his hesitant tone. "So Sly, unless you'd like to get soaked, it looks like you won't be leaving." She stretched out on the floor of her den, yawning.
-
Death stiffened when the tom touched her, but allowed him to groom her. She lay her head down on the cold stone floor.
-
"No problem," Carizette mewed. The monster stopped in front of her twoleg's nest and it scooped Cinder up and walked in. Carizette followed after, slipping in the entrance just as it slammed shut behind her. "Though I think my twoleg has other ideas." She added, purring in amusement as it set the tom down in her nest. She sat next to him.
-
"That doesn't matter," Death dimissed, standing and carefully fixing her teeth in the dead tom's scruff. "Help me move him," she murmured through his allready cooling fur.
-
"They're a bit dull, but yeah, they're nice," Carizette agreed, laying down in her nest next to Cinder, totally at ease. She yawned, eyes squeezing shut as she did.
-
"Okay, it's just ahead!" Flameslinger shouted, running between two trees and into the dense undergrowth. The trail of embers left by his enchanted boots were the only sign of where he was headed.
-
"Back to the cemetery," she instructed, leading the way with the body between them.
-
Carizette dozed next to Cinder, his warm fur brushing her shoulder. She could tell he was asleep. Not such a bad idea the kittypet admitted to herself just before drifting off.
-
"One of my old hideouts," Flameslinger threw over his shoulder. "Before I became a Skylander, I was pretty much a rogue." He jumped up and grabbed the lowest bough of a thick tree and started to climb.
-
-
"Yeah," he confirmed. "Come on, I think we're leaving." Hawkfang dashed after the other ShadowClan cats, but made sure Firegaze was following.
-
"Good morning," Carizette yawned, eyes blinking open.
-
The patrol skidded to a halt at the edge of Fourtrees, looking down into the clearing. WindClan was present, but ThunderClan and RiverClan were still missing. The full moon cast silver beams onto the wiry cats' pelts and the Highrock.
"Let's go, ShadowClan," Lynxstar mewed, then leapt gracefully into the clearing. Her clan followed, Hawkfang and Firegaze among them. His yellow eyes gleamed in the pale silver rays as her gazed around excitedly.
