(15) Purring, she pressed her warm body against Spooks', feeling her fur grow damp from the chill of the water still clinging to him. "You're going to get icicles in your fur if you don't shake that out properly!

(16) The she-kit nodded, turning back to the pool. There were flat expanses of grey rock all around the pool, and it all looked very clean, with no mud around to dirty the water.
-
(17) She turned, looking at Spook before asking him a question. "Do you think there could be fish in any of these pools?"
-
(18) Insistent not to give up, the young she-cat wandered around the pools, staring in. Some of the pools were bubbling more than others, and as she walked near a particularly deep pool, a burst of steam shot up between her legs, and she yowled aloud and shot forwards, tripping over her feet and tumbling into a pool with a splash.
-
(19) Crying aloud in stress, rather than worry, the kit listened to her mentor, realizing he was giving her a paw in case she couldn't slip, but that he was also watching to see how she dealt with the situation on her own, giving her tips on how to help herself swim.
-
(20) She stopped flailing in the water, instead churning it like Spook had said, until she pulled herself out of the pool, dripping water puddling in a pool around her feet.
-
(21/30) The young cat shook, waited a moment and then shook again, following Spook's eyes as they caught sight of the other cat. "What does it matter if that cat belongs to a clan or not?"
-
(22) She looked at the two cats, looking embarrassed that she didn't already know that. She still had doubts about joining her mother's clan, but she hoped she would be strong enough to stick to the clan's harsh rules.
-
(23) Nervous now by all the attention, the kit shook her damp fur again and padded to the pool so she could immerse herself in the steam, drying the water from her fur.
-
(24) Frowning, the kit flicked her tail side to side, listening to her mentor and thinking about all the things she would be giving up if she joined the Dominion, her grandmother's clan. She wished to honor her mother, and live up to her great legacy.
-
(25) She did feel slightly relived at her mentors words, and pushed her damp pelt against his and purred. "Thanks, Spook"
-
(26/30) The she-kit laughed and shook her head at her mentor. "This place sure is something. It would be a good place to come in the winter like this, if anything ever happens to your camp."
-
(27) "Mouse-brain, you could always drag moss up here! And the rock would stay hot all the time!"
-
(28) "Does it ever get so cold out that water is hard to find?" she asked her mentor, watching the steam rise off the pool in front of herself, sticking her face out in it to feel the damp warmth.
-
(29) Purring at the thought that if she decided to join Spook's clan, she wouldn't have to worry about water. "I wonder if any of the other animals come to these springs."
-
(30) The kit stretched, shaking once more to make sure all the water was really free of her fur. "Do you think we should head back?"
-
(ONE) Beside her mentor, the black and white she-kit trembled with excitement. After the rush of running around the carnival, the young cat was delighted at the prospect of infiltrating another twisted playground for Up-walkers. More curious than anything else were the booming thumbs and jittery cheering, clapping. Strange noises that usually emitted from Up-walker cars or speaker boxes. Itching to get on with it, the kit mewed at her mentor, "Come on, Spook, when are we going in?"
-
(TWO) Pandalily's eyes brightened at the thought of leading them both inside, and she nodded at her mentor, turning back towards the opening to the funhouse. She waited for a moment longer, making sure the coast was clear, and then darted inside, knowing Spook would follow. Once getting beyond the opening, she nearly panicked; it was dark all around, and it took her eyes a moment to adjust before she calmed down, racing towards a sweet-smelling tent near a poi presentation and slipping under the rich-looking fabric of the tent.
-
(THREE) Pandalily chased her mentor, seeing a few twolegs sitting at another table nearby, one of them chatting away excitedly as she pointed at a round white ball. As she slipped under the table, she noticed that the top had been decorated with a large fairy garden with working waterworks and lights, and that shiny fabrics were draped from the ceiling of the tent around the table. Suddenly, Pandalily was assaulted by a furious hissing, and all her kit fur stood on end.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY TENT!?" came a furious hiss.
(OOC: HEY Ghosty, make up a cool circus cat)
-
(FOUR) Pandalily looked from one cat to the other, both pelts bristling, both looking formidable. She was surprised by their bad luck. But then again, as she thought about it, this cat may have seemed offended that the two wild cats had burst into her sleeping den, but she seemed at least reasonable. She didn't seem keen to attack a kit, at least, and she looked angry at the tomcat, but held her cool. She could've caused much more noise, and alerted the two-leg nearby, but she had been decent enough not to cause a fuss.
