Jake smirked. "Not going to happen." he said. He looked at Sierra and then the kids. "Congratulations," he muttered jokingly.

Darkfur stepped towards her. He shyly put his forehead to hers. "Birdsong... I've never felt anything like I feel for you now," he murmured, looking her in the eyes softly. "Will you...be my mate?"
-
Darkfur smiled, his eyes full of the love he had for her. He nuzzled her; he couldnt hold back.
-
Darkfur smiled at her love filled purrs. He nuzzled a side of her neck with a quiet purr.
-
Darkfur nodded sleepily, lieing down close to her. He licked her ear and head slowly until she had fell asleep.
-
After a long while, Darkfur fell asleep to the trickling of the river and the pale light of the moon. Fur pressed against Birdsongs, he felt happier than ever before.
-
Darkfur was glad they were mates now. It was just something about her that made him feel like they have known each other all their lives. Maybe they could run off together and have a family, staring their own clan. Maybe, maybe, maybe....
-
In his sleep, Darkfur smiled and purred, entwining his tail with Birdsong's.
-
"Hey," Jake said to Scarlette, sitting in a chair next to her. "You alright?" He asked softly.
-
Darkfur jerked awake. "Well, at least you landed on your paws and not your face.."
-
"You cant isolate me from every single person, Dimitri," Jake replied through gritted teeth.
-
Jake looked down at Scarlette and frowned. "Gosh, have you been sleeping?" He asked concerned. "You dont look well right now," he said, studying her tired face.
-
Darkfur smiled with amuesment. "Its been a lucky day for all of us," he mewed, nudging Birdsong happily.
-
Jake looked at Scarlette sympathetically. "Thats...thats terrible," he murmured appologetically. He looked up at Dimitri. "Why? What happened in the past happened in the past! Its gone now, over," he said frustrated.
-
Darkfur smiled, pressing against her. "Same here," he smiled warmly.
-
Jake frowned at Dimitri, but turned back to Scarlette. "My gosh," he said. "I'm sorry about your sister," he said sadly. "Have you tried thinking about the better memories you have had with your sister? That is what settles me when someone close to me has... been lost." He sighed.
-
"There isn't much to remember," Scarlette replied, "She was barely two years old when it happened." Then, she reached into her shirt and pulled out the dragonfly necklace she'd hidden. "And before my mother took me to this place, my best friend Bryce who's four years older than me, gave me this." She held out the necklace before her, staring at it with glassy eyes. "He's probably forgotten all about me by now, though."
Jake frowned, his face creased slightly with sympathy. "Dont say things like that," he said softly, gently laying his hands on her to comfort her. "Of course he would remember you, people like you are impossible to forget."
-
"Everything does happen for a reason... Good or bad," he frowned, sighing. "He may not have been able to show up, but it didnt lessen how much he cared about you," he said gently. He reached up, softly brushing the tear from her face with his thumb. "It'll be alright, and...your welcome," he smiled quietly.
-
Jake turned as well, looking at Lilly for what she had to say. He was tense with nervousness.
-
"You see the dead." Jake gasped, his eyes wide.
