Jake hugged her quickly. "Dont do that again," he told her.

Jake heard the scream and bursted back into the bar, running towards the man. "Put her down!" He yelled. He did a well aimed kick to the good of the mans back, sending him tumbling. He grabbed Scarlette, pulling her out of his grasp before he caught himself.
-
Jake nodded and smiled softly to Scarlette. "Are you hurt?" He asked, examining her face.
-
"Oh, I'll show y-..." Jake trailed off when the bar got silent. His face went pale.
-
"No, Scarlette..." Jake said. He wasnt in a good situation.
-
"The library's around the corner," he called after her quietly before she made it out the door.
-
"I wonder why," Jake smirked. He didnt remember saying anything to Eve to get her that upset. He tried to push that awkward moment out of his mind. He looked down at Sierra, who was lying in the snow, his hands in his pockets casually, despite the fact he was so stiff and ridgid at the moment.
-
"That sounds...right..." Jake said sarcastically but with an even tone.
-
Jake nodded and helped Sierra to her feet. "I think it would be better if you walked, to get the feeling into your legs," He suggested with a shrug.
-
Jake didnt look at Eve, he just kept walking.
-
Jake's head jerked in the direction of the scream. "Scarlette," he breathed. He sprinted around the corner as fast as he could, skidding to a stop when he saw the man with Scarlette in his arms. "Let her go," He said icily, his fists clenched
-
Jake clenched his jaw. Without thinking, he charged towards the man, pulling his arm back and aiming to punch the man in the nose.
-
Jake angrily kicked the man under his chin. He turned back to Scarlette, gently helping her up. "Hey, its alright..." Jake told her forgivingly. "All that matters is that your safe."
-
Jake found himself smiling. "Its alright, its starting to become a regular thing for me," he said. He examined her cheek. With gentle fingers he felt along her cheekbone and the side of her face to make sure nothing was fractured. "He hit you pretty hard," he murmured.
-
"Scarlette..." Jake sighed. He pulled her into a comforting hug.
-
Jake put a hand on Scarlettes shoulder. "Are you going to be alright?" He asked her.
-
"Oh Scarlette.." Jake frowned. He put an arm around her shoulders to steeady her,
-
Jake stared at the man. "If there going to take us back, there would be more than one man." he reassured her.
-
Jake leaned against the wall, watching the others. His hands were in his pockets.
-
Jake nodded to Ayana then turned to Scarlette and Klaus. "You cant stop falling, can you?" He smiled to Scarlette. He turned to Klaus. "Nice to meet you," he said, holding out a hand to shake.
