Cornkit shook her head at her sister. "I'm going to stay here until I know that Gorsey is okay," she mewed as if she couldn't decide if she would or not.

Lacie laughed. She realized just how exhausted she really was. She sighed and curled her tail around her nose.
-
Cassie called, "Yes!" She bounded up beside Swamp. Darn, it was so cold out. She fluffed out her fur. She wanted nothing more but she press herself against Swamp but she felt that might be inappropriate.
-
Raven heard Ghostkit's sigh. He wanted to give the tyke some adventure! This was Starclan! There had to be something interesting to do here.
-
Owlpaw shook her head in confusion. They would have to go to the City?! What was that anyway?
-
Cornkit didn't take Slashedkit's advice. She leaned into Gorsekit and pressed her nuzzle against her flank. "You can't leave us yet, Gorse," she murmured.
-
Cassie smiled as Swamp disappeared into the bushes. She wondered how this would go. The snow was falling heavily and it looked like they might be stuck out for a while. She shivered, realizing just how cold she was. She followed Swamp into the bushes.
"Brr!" she purred. "It's beyond freezing out there!" -
Boos swerved her head to the cat that twitched his ears. He seemed to be a newbie. Hmm. "What's your name?" she asked the tom.
-
Owlpaw shivered at the thought of going to the city. It sounded too big to find the cats. Maybe she wouldn't have to go since she was an apprentice.
-
"Shut up, Frost!" Boos commanded of the sour she-cat. She was just so annoying! She looked at the tiny kit and smiled sweetly. "Don't worry," she purred. "you can tag with me."
-
Cornkit squealed in delight. She licked the tears off of Slashedkit's face. "She's awake!" she shrieked. She was so happy! "No need to cry anymore, Slashy!"
-
"Ghostkit!" Raven mewed in horror. Did the kit know how to swim? He ran to the edge and tried to pull Ghostkit out by the scruff and bring him back to shore.
-
"I hope it doesn't get worse either," she said. In a lower voice she said quietly to herself, "not that this is too bad either."
She poked her head outside for a second but a pile of snow had lightly covered the top of her fur. She laughed joyfully at the cold and wetness of all the snow. She wiped off the snow with a paw.
"That's so cold!" she purred.
-
Cassie shivered. She scooted a bit closer to Swamp to get warmer. It was pretty cold in these bushes, although the snow wasn't falling directly on them. She smiled at Swamp.
"You're a grandpa now," she mewed. -
OOC- I know, i know. But Raven is still a n00b at Starclan
Raven dove in and pulled Ghostkit out for sure. He licked the little guy's fur warming him up. "Are you okay?" he asked, concerned for the little guy.
-
Boos groaned. Another dead cat? Darn it! It would be extremely difficult to get the stench out of their cages. She put back on her face of fake nice and sweetness. She turned to Kokoro and pretended to start crying. She sniffled as she "pulled herself together."
"Be strong, little one," she said, nuzzling Kokoro's head. She gave her a comforting lick. -
Cornkit jumped up and down, excited. She licked Slashedkit on the cheek. It was a habit. "Gorse is going to be okay!" she said happily.
-
Cassie stiffened at the mention of Swamp's old mate. She hadn't really heard anything about this former she-cat. Of course, she had to exist, seeing as how Cronus and Heracles exist. But if she hadn't died, how would she feel if Cassie hung out with Swamp?
"I'm an aunt," she told Swamp laughing. "I wonder when I will get kits of my own." -
Clouded padded into the area of the gathering of cats. He looked around for a moment, sizing up all of his 'opponents.' They better not mess with him or else they got another thing coming. Trying to put an unfathomable look on his face, he took a seat away from the group. Enough to not actually be a part of the group and close enough to eavesdrop on the conversations.
-
Lacie groaned a bit to herself. She quickly caught herself so as not to let the kits know of their loudness. She smiled. She never had this much fun as a kit.
Guess that goes to show how families affect everything, huh? she thought to herself.
