"No," Ringpaw mewed quietly and innocently.
-
Ebony was a bit surprized to see Twilight, but she nodded. "I'd love to," a smile apeared on her lips and in her eyes.
-
Ebony sprinted after Twilight, her dark eyes catching almost every movement outside of camp.
-
Ebonypaw overheard the two warriors, and she really wanted to come, too! 'They probably wouldn't let an apprentice come,' she thought. But she had to try. She walked over to the cats and, plucking up the courage, she asked, "May I come with?"
-
Ringpaw was ecstatic to find out that they had found the others. She pranced over to the wall and hopped through the hole. "Wait... how did you guys get over here?" she asked, confusion showing on her features and in her dark eyes.
-
Her eyes lit up, and she ran off to inform her mentor. After a bit of persuading, she came back with a delighted expression. "She said yes!" Ebonypaw exclaimed.
-
Ringpaw nodded. She then looked up at the hole, "This cave must be really old to have holes like that."
-
Ebony heard a noise from behind and caught a whiff of rabbit. She slowly turned around, and, after spotting it, she attacked. The rabbit was fast, so Ebony was barely able to catch it.
-
Ebony walked up to Twilight and asked, "So... what do we do for fun around here?" Ebony was new to this clan and didn't know much. She was accepted when they found her dying near a flooding lake.
-
Ebony nodded, unable to think of what to say.
-
She shrugged, "Maybe we all could do something together. What sounds entertaining that we can all do together?"
-
A smile curved her lips, "Okay, on three?"
-
"Amberleaf!" she exclaimed, running over to her friend. "I haven't seen you in a long time! Can she, please?" she looked back at the others.
-
"Two," she said.
-
Ebony ran along side Twilight, her paw a fluid movement. Ahead of her she spotted a root, but too late- she tripped. The root broke from the force, and Ebony started summer-saulting. When her body finally slowed its momentum to a halt, her pelt was tangled with twigs and scratches covered her all over.
-
Ebonypaw followed enthusiastically, her dark eyes bright with happiness.
-
Ebony got up, her body shaking slightly. She shook her pelt, and simply replied, "Yeah."
-
She nodded and took her own prey, and padded back to camp alongside Twilight.
-
Ebonypaw nodded in agreement. She quietly started to scent out a vole. Spotting the prey, she got into a crouching position. Right when it was about to turn around, she pounced. Ebonypaw was never really great at the catching part, but she managed. The vole struggled, she was barely able to kill it before it escaped her grasp.
