Mooneyes padded in to the camp, her jaws filled with fish and her mind on a puzzel she feared even she could not solve. For the past week she had been haveing the same dream over and over and it didn't allow her to get much sleep. Every night she would go to sleep and dream of her as a kit crying as the world around her turned red. then she would wake up and not be able to go back to sleep.

Ooooooh, I'll change that.

Why do we need a head popular male, couldn't he have been hit by a car and part of the story is they're trying to find a new one?

although that would be a little cruel and a bit gory if you gave details.

Hotaru sat by the fire and looked at the flames though her mind was far away. She still couldn't believe that her brother had gone off to join the army and tfight the gryffins. Then again she hadn't told him that she herself was a friend of the gryffins.

Masaru threw the most recent letter from his sister in to the fire. What did she want him to say? that her would leave the army and join with the gryffins? Those birds were a danger to them all and need killing. In the end she would either see scene or be taken care of. He begged for the first.

Mooneyes looked up and blinked, where was she. for a moment she didn't remember anything. then she saw the young apprentice and remembered the naming ceramony. Why had she sudently forgotten?
Mooneyes stude to go and Oceanpaw.

But over all thats not to bad of an idea on my behalf.
And trust me, my good ideas are few and far between.

Hotarus keen ears picked up a noise she had never heard before. She stude and walked out side and at first saw nothing.

Masaru looked up suddently then looked back down, what had he just been thinking about. He couldn't remember. Something was wrong, that much he was sure about. Something was amist in the world and somethign he knew was not right. He looked up to see one of the solders inter. Then he remembered that he still hadn't told Hotaru that he had been permoted to generll. "Sir, they are coming in on the east winds." He turned to the solder and smiled, finally.

One time I thought it would be wize to try and give a five year old an energy drink, one of those five hour energy things. Well he was bouncing off the walls for five hours.

Hotaru gasped and ran torwards the egg and saw the small crack in it. She looked around on the grown and then up in the air, but no one and no thing was around. She carefully removed her jacket and used it sa a cushion around the egg.

Masaru walked out barking orders as he went. With in a few seconeds everyone was at their posts and waiting for the first of the beasts to arive.

Mooneyes dropped the fish on the pile then padded over. "I'm up for more hunting." she paused and looked up at the sky. "I found a place with lots of fish, I could show who ever else decides to come were it is."

Hotaru nearly jumped as the little gryffin hachted in her arms. "Hey little guy. Where are your parents?"
She looked around still saw nothing. After a moments hesitation she walked back in to the house and set it down on the edge of the fire place. "What's your name little guy?"

Masaru drew his sword witth his left hand and signelled the archers with his right. they drew their bows up to ready position. He lowered his hand and the archers released.

My four year old cousin is the same way. Except she trys and aims for me. It has improved my refelxis alot.

Mooneyes smiled, the frowned. Was the waterfall west or east of the big tree with the ravens nest?

"Well unless you know weather the waterfall is east or west of the big tree with the ravens nest, I don't think you could find the little laxe with all those fish in it. you wouldn't happen to know would you?" asked Mooneyes, still not sure herself. "I'm pretty sure it's east."

"Oh good. I seem to be forgetting alot lately." She looked up and smiled. "So, lead the way."
