Brightkit awoke in a place full of stars and beautiful trees. Had she come to live in Starclan? She closed her eyes hoping to awake in the marsh. When she opened her eyes she saw Smallkit. "Thank..you...for rescuing..me." meowed Brightkit. She tried to stand up but collapsed again. "Go get Gentlefur...." mewed Brightkit as she tried to keep her eyes open.

Brightkit spotted a rabbit hole. She went limped inside to hide from Goldenkit. She found a sharp and pointy stick that she picked it up just in case Goldenkit came back.

Brightkit started to caugh. She was becoming so cold that she kept shivering.

"Keep...Goldenkit...away..from...me>" meowed Brightkit giving the stick to Smallkit as she layed her head down and closed her eyes.

"Th-Tha-Thank-yu-you Smallkit." meowed Brightkit as she barely opened her eyes. All she wanted was to get back to the nursery and stay away from Goldenkit.

Brightkit opened her eyes and saw Goldenkit. Suddenly all her senses came back. "Get away from me you filthy piece of fox dung." hissed Brightkit as she ran out of the nursery into the elders den and hid behind an elder that was sleeping.

"Well, I know one place. There's a little hole that we can crawl into behind the elders den." mewed Brightkit as she led Smallkit into the clearing to the back f the elders den where the tunnel was. Goldenkit was too big to fit into it.

Inside up against the wall Brightkit grabed something she should have showed Smallkit awhile ago. "I never ment to steal this but to keep it safe." said Brightkit. She handed Smallkit he old feather and grabed hers. I thought Goldenkit would steal them. "Im so sorry for taking it." she mewed.

"There. I thank you greatly Smallstar." meowed Brightkit, stifling a gigle as she placed Smallkits feather on her head.

Brightkit suddenly heard a noise. "Oh no! Its Goldenkit!" Brightkit mewed terrified.

"What are we to do. We are the only ones that know what Goldenkit did to me?" asked Brightkit.

"Wait. Did you here that? I think Goldenkit is in trouble." mewed Brightkit.

"Well, I think that Ill give you a name. Your name shall be... Tawnykit. Hows that?" asked Emberclaw.

" She doesnt deserve mercy. She left me there to die and she should pay the price." Brightkit hissed in Smallkits ear.

"Well, all i mean is that she should be punished, not banished." meowed Brightkit.

"Do you want to play Sniff and Scent?" meowed Brightkit with hope.

"Should I be the one to hide or do you want to?" she said.

"Kay. Um..count to 10 mousetails.Ill go hide now." meowed Brightkit as she ran to hide. She hid in a really old rabbit hole. Smallkit would never find her there.

"Awww mousedung! Ill count next. Your good at this. Ill start counting when you go kay?" replied Brightkit.

As soon as Brightkit was done counting she searched for Smallkit. After awhile she almost gave up when she saw a peculiar trail of water. She followed it and barely saw Smallkit in the snow. "There you are! I thought I had almost lost this game!" meowed Brightkit with pleasure at knowing she finnally found Smallkit.
