thornpaw raced up to icepaw and sat next to her.

thornpaw peered down at icepaw with a chuckle.

thornpaw got close to copperheart and touched noses gently with his eyes shut.

thornpaw looked back at icepaw.

"yes of course copperheart, but how can i tell once i have reached the edge of our territory?" thornpaw asked copperheart with enthusiasm.

thornpaw had a timeout from training he went into the medicene cats den with a 3 plump mice in his jaws. he dropped one in front of icepaw and the other infront of sunlight. then he sat down himself and ate the final mouse.

Thornstar trotted in to the medicene cat den with a squeeze through the entrance. "hello mudshadow, you told me earlier that you had something to tell me?", thornstar meowed to mudshadow.

"for how long? are you alright? do you need to go to the queens den again? can you tell how many?" thornstar meowed a mouth full of words quickly.

"ermm... hehe... actually, everyone just thought you were getting fatter...", thornstar mewed to mudshadow embarressed.

"alright, but before you do go there, can you tell me how many you can feel?", thornstar asked mudshadow quietly.

"alright then, lets go to the queens den, i'll get your moss.", thornstar meowed to mudshadow in a hurry while getting her moss.

before mudshadows delicate stomach hit the dirt floor thornstar skidded beneath her and softened her fall, luckily mudshadow was fine.

Thornstar slipped from underneath her and meowed to mudshadow in a scared voice, "i'll go get berrypaw!", thornstar then charged to the medicene cat den and yowled at berrypaw, "come. come quick, mudshadow is giving birth!", thornstar ran back to mudshadow and meowed to the yowling cat, "berrypaw is coming, she is gonna help!"

thornstar obeyed and raced back to the moss he had dropped to run over to her and soften her fall. he ran back with mouth fulls of moss and dropped it where mudshadow told him to put it.

Mudshadows eyes widened with pain, while her stomach began to get thinner. a kit slipped out and landed on the moss.

thornstar shot out of camp and fetched another stick and also picked up some moss soaked with water. he dropped them both in front of mudshadow. her stomach went thinner again and this time she looked usually thin like all other cats. the last kit rolled out and wasnt breathing. "HELP! HELP! THIS KIT ISNT BREATHING!!! JAYCLAW DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!?", thornstar licked the cat and wrapped his tail around it but it made no difference.

Thornstar took the kit and placed it in berrypaws possesion, then leaped in front of mudshadow, he put his paw close to her nose and realised her breath was getting weaker by the second. "berrypaw is there anyway to help her!" thornstar yowled at berrypaw.
