I narrowed my brown eyes at her, suddenly smirking. "You will when we meet in the arena." I retorted calmly and just walked off, a sly smile still on my face. I know my mentor will chew me out, but I don't really care. I wasn't going to let a lower District show me off. I felt the stares of others who witness mine and the girls talk on my back, but that didn't slow me down.

I slowly made my way to the bow and arrows, holding it in my hands. I knew almost all of how to do this, for we trained our whole lives for this very moment. I let got of the string, sending the arrow flying. It hit the dummy in the chest, but not as accurate as I would have liked. I did it a couple more times until I almost had it perfect.

Hazel sighed a glanced away too, slowly chewing on some grass. Well this is sorta awkward... Hazel thought to herself, keeping an eye on the buck. She slowly took a step forward, glancing to the side at the other doe who was watching them closely. "Uhm..." Hazel sighed, tilting her head at the buck.

I caught a glance at the district 2 girl, noticing she was watching me. I flicked my gaze to the Capital workers, watching them. It might not seem like it, but I truly hate them with a strong passion. They should go in the hunger games and see how we feel. All they do is eat, sleep, and create stuff to kill people. Technically, they are the murderers.

I sighed and walked over to Gleam who was talking to the tributes from District 1 and some person from District 3. "We need to go ahead and kill District 12..." they were saying, my eye brows raising in interest. I listened, forcing myself not to look at the tributes from District 12. Of course, I wasn't going to protest because then I would move to #1 on their kill list. "District 8 has a good chance... Maybe we should kill them first." I suggested instead, wondering why I even supported 12.

Reid seem surprised by the girls comment, his eyes narrowing slightly. She is... District 10. he thought in remembrance, sighing slightly. "So can the skills of hand-to-hand compact when you fight someone." he retorted back, his expression challenging. He was not going to let some... girl push him around.

His ran his hand through his light brown hair, his expression hinted with annoyance. "Listen, why don't you do your thing and I do mine okay?" he finally said, grabbing the bow and arrow. Back home, his family was very poor and Reid was the oldest of 3 kids. He taught himself to hunt and to survive on his own. He pulled back the string of the bow, in instantly letting go. The arrow landed on the bulls-eye. To be honest, Reid was surprised himself at hitting the target almost perfectly. He hid his expression by glancing the other way, his chocolate brown eyes focused.

"I'm uh... Hazel." the doe said shyly, turning her head to so the buck couldn't see her blushing. She stole a quick glance up at the buck, seeing he was watching that other doe. "Awe great." she muttered sarcastically under her breath, glaring at the doe. I'm nothing compared to that doe... Might as well give up! Hazel thought, turning away slightly.

I sorta nodded them off and made my way to the sword battle, my mind running with thoughts. Why in the world would I try and defend District 12? I don't even like them! I sighed, knowing deep inside, I didn't want them to hunt down 12. Maybe I can figure out another District that we could kill first. That thought made goosebumps arise on my skin. Maybe I still haven't function that we will be KILLING other people... taking away their one and only life...

I glanced up from my thoughts to see that girl and boy from District 12. Awe, Not again! I thought, hoping that the girl wouldn't notice me. I'm already getting chewed out by my mentor probably, I don't wanna get killed by him. I promised myself I would hold my tongue, because I'm not in the mood to make enemies.

Taylor quickly glanced up, her chocolate brown eyes fixing onto a guy whom just ran into her. "Oh uh... It's okay." she mumbled, clearing her throat. She clutched her books tighter, glancing down to see the guy wearing riding boots. She about started choking. Another guy? With riding boots? Taylor could not believe it.

[font=comic sans ms] I slowly awoke with a yawn in their old abandon warehouse-like home. It was all torn up and it seemed more like a battle field. I rolled over to see (your character) at my right, a few feet away. I stood up to stretching, seeing a the sun come up. In habit, I walked over to the window, checking for any zombies. "No zombies." I said with relief, glancing at (your character).

Hazel took a few steps back, her eyes clouded with confusions. "Who are...?" her voice trailed off, her head tilting slightly. A skunk, rabbit, and owl? How odd! she thought, suddenly seeing the buck's cheeks turn red. "Wha...?" she whispered again, blinking her eyes a few times. Hazel shook her head and gave them a small smile. "I'm Hazel." she replied with a small nod.

"Look who's showing off now..." I muttered to myself, hiding my surprised face. I glanced at the other boy, Robin is his name, and sorta felt a twig of sympathy for him. I knew that he will never make it, but you never know...

I waited patiently for my turn, my eyes locked on the girl from 12 and the trainer, seeing how skilled she was. I twisted my neck around, feeling my neck become tense. I glanced behind me to see Gleam climbing the rope, no problems at all. I tried to see everyone's strategy, hoping to find their weakness.

Reese jumped in behind her, climbing below her, his sword clutched tightly in his hand. "Don't... move..." he breathed as the bloody creatures stood below the, groaning and glancing around in confusion. They were only a few feet below them, making Reese more fearful. The zombies can wait all their lifetime probably for them. He held his breath, not daring to move or even breathe.

I walked over to Peter, sitting down a foot beside him. Peter was more of the leader of our little group I guess. "So... what today? Just survive?" I question criss-crossing my legs, my head tilting slightly. My light brown hair was surprisingly not in tangles, for I thoroughly brush it out every day.

--OCC: How old is Peter? Taylor is 16--

"Yeah... okay." I replied slowly, still sitting there. After awhile, I stood up and stretched my sore legs and arms. "What's for breakfast..." I asked, walking over to Peter, pulling my long brown hair to a tight pony tail. Before all the... madness happened, I actually hunted quite a bit from my daddy but then, the zombies came and... you know how it ended. My deep brown eyes were clouded with sleep, for I barely sleep at night because of nightmares.

Hazel felt confidence surge inside her, smiling once more. "So Bambi, tell me why you're here." she asked, gazing at him. She felt her heart flip inside her as he stood close to her. Hazel glanced at the other animals, seeing that they were talking about something. Probably me... she thought.

I sigh, glancing around the small warehouse we were in. "Maybe we should try and find weapons. There are bound to be some." I suggested, walking over to some boxes stacked in the corner of the building. I started searching through the boxes, dumping out all that was in them.

Hazel's face also turned red, and Hazel got mad at herself because she had no idea why she was blushing. When Thumper hopped on her, she stumbled back, falling down. She shook her fur and quickly stood up, whos entire face turned red. I can't believe the buck actually likes me! Hazel thought with excitement.
