Sparrowkit sensed Featherglow's fear, and it only added to her own. What had happened to Galaxypelt? She didn't dare think about what could have happened to him. If he died, Featherglow would have lost her mate ...
But Sparrowkit hated seeing Featherglow so upset. 'I'm sure that Galaxypelt is fine,' she meowed, although she wasn't so sure of it herself.
-
'Sure,' said Summerfern, taking the rabbit from Lostpaw. 'I caught another rabbit before, but I'll come and get it later.'
Summerfern began to make her way back to the Windclan camp.
-
IC:
'I hope so too,' meowed Sparrowkit, trying to imagine what a wolfdog looked like. What sort of damage could it do? Obviously a lot.
OOC: Sorry this took so long. Very short :(
-
OOC: Firstly, sorry I haven't replied to this sooner, my internet access is kinda limited. And secondly, do you want to finish this up or what? I'm open to all suggestions. Lostpaw and Summerfern could hang out together until the Bloodclan raid and fight together, that's one idea I had. What do you think?
IC: Summerfern continued accross the moorlands, back towards the main Windclan camp, carrying the dead rabbit in her mouth. It was morning now, the sky was becoming a deeper shade of blue. She passed the mound where she had buried the first rabbit she had caught, the elderly one, and made a note in her head to go and fetch it later.
-
Sparrowkit squeaked in surprise, feeling a sudden bump against her side - Featherglow was right. There was another bump, and again Sparrowkit squeaked - this was weird.
'Well ...' she said, a little unsurely, 'I'd rather wait to play with your kits once they were outside!'
-
Summerfern continued her walk back to the Windclan camp, passing the mound where she had buried her first rabbit.
Hunting with Lostpaw had been nice, Summerfern had to admit it. The apprentice didn't talk and talk and talk and talk ... like some of the others. He seemed mature enough, which was something Summerfern valued in other cats. If you couldn't keep your head screwed on properly there you weren't of any value to Windclan at all.
-
Sparrowkit was surprised by Featherglow's question. Usually it was the kits who were asking the warriors questions, not the other way around!
'Of course you will be,' said Sparrowkit, 'after all, you're my mother - sort of - and I think you're great at it!'
-
My Shadowclanner, Hawkpelt, needs RPing - the title pretty much says it all.
Be warned, this guy is grumpy - but for a good reason. I'll stick the link to his bio below.

I'm open to all suggestions, so if you have an idea please reply.

OOC: We could always finish this up, if you liked ... *creative juices are juiced*
Sparrowkit purred.
'I know you will,' she said confidently.
-
OOC: Thanks I'll be there :)
IC:
Sparrowkit saw that Featherglow had fallen asleep - the queen must be tired. Sparrowkit tip-toed out of the nursery, deciding that it would be good for Featherglow to rest. Not making a sound, Sparrowkit left Featherglow to sleep.
-
Summerfern didn't try to stop Lostpaw as he left, watching the apprentice leave. She crouched down low in the grass, not wanting to distract Lostpaw or the rabbit.
OOC: Short ... lacks muse ...
-
Summerfern watched Lostpaw stalk the rabbit. He had a good technique - she would give him that. Unfortunately, the rabbit heard the apprentice approaching him and bolted off. Summerfern stood up properly now, and waited for Lostpaw to come back.
'You were good,' said Summerfern to Lostpaw, 'just a bit too noisy.'
-
OOC: Hey, do you mind if we finish this up soonish?
IC:
'You were,' agreed Summerfern, who had never been one to give praise when it wasn't needed, 'but you'll learn from your mistake - I learned from all of mine. Mistakes shape us, but for the better-' Summerfern stopped, quickly realizing that it was time to shut her mouth. So she continued back towards the Windclan camp, rabbit in her mouth.
-
Sparrowkit stuck her head through the nursery door, looking for Featherglow. She hadn't seen her foster-mother for a few days now, and wanted to make sure that she was all right. Padding through the nursery, Sparrowkit scanned it for Featherglow, quickly finding her - as well as the two kits at her side!
Sparrowkit squeaked in excitement and ran over to Featherglow - she'd had her kits!
However, Sparrowkit stopped at a distance - she wasn't sure if Featherglow wanted to her kits to have visitors just yet. Some queens were very protective of their newborns, and Sparrowkit wasn't sure if running straight up to Featherglow's ones was the right thing to do.
'Um, hi,' meowed Sparrowkit, 'you've had your kits!' She couldn't keep the excitement out of her voice. 'What are their names?'
-
OOC: Okay, do you mind if Summerfern leaves now-ish? (EDIT: Oops, unless that 'yup' meant 'yes, I DO mind if we finish', or 'yup, let's finish this'. *sends out confused vibes*
IC:
Summerfern left the Moorlands and made her way back to the camp, following Lostpaw.
OOC: ... Because my muse died long ago.

Hawkpelt hissed loudly in annoyance at the wailing cat's noise - he was trying to sleep! Swishing his long red-brown tail from side to side Hawkpelt contemplated the idea of going and forcibly making the cat - he then remembered that the cat's name was Deviousfang - be quiet, but quickly dismissed the idea.
Then a she-cat spoke. Hawkpelt recognized her as Hollyfrost, a new cat to the warrior's den. Hawkpelt twisted his ear around to catch her words.
'Do you smell a fox?'
Although he was irritated and annoyed that he had been woken from his sleep, a sense of duty kicked in. Foxes were bad for Shadowclan, they could do damage. Reluctantly standing up, Hawkpelt made his way across the den and stood at a distance from Hollyfrost, waiting for the crazy cat's answer.
-
Sparrowkit wasn't sure what to think of Galaxypelt - although she hadn't met him before, he seemed okay. And he obviously cared about Featherglow and the kits, which was something he had in common with Sparrowkit. Stepping forward to Featherglow, Sparrowkit cautiously took a good look at the kits.
'I think they're both great,' she mewed, agreeing with Featherglow. 'The names sound really nice.'

If you were an optimist, it was merely cold. If you were a realist, it was freezing. And if you were a pessimist, it was bitterly cold and wet and snowing and miserable.
Summerfern wasn’t sure which one she was. She had never been a puddle-half-empty cat, but she wasn’t an optimist either. Summerfern was always realistic when it came to her problems. So she wasn’t sure if she hated the weather, because it was awful, or was happy because she’d finally been assigned her first apprentice.
Either way, despite the weather, today Summerfern would begin training Savourypaw. She had decided to start with a hunting lesson – something every warrior needed to know.

Sparrowkit squeaked with surprise when Magickit made her way over to her, batting at her own paws. However, she stayed still and gently licked the kit on the head. There was a series of mews as Olivekit tried to find his sister - a pang in Sparrowkit's heart making her realize that, if things had been different, she could be doing this with her real parents and siblings that were related to her by blood.
But Sparrowkit shook off the feeling - Featherglow and her kits were her family now. And after Galaxypelt spoke to her, she knew what she thought was completely true.
'Thanks ... Father,' she purred shyly, deciding that Galaxypelt was a nice cat - he had told her that she could call him 'father' even though they had barely met. He had accepted her.

I've got Hawkpelt. He's similiar to Hollyfrost in many ways - I think RPing them together would be interesting. I'll put the link to his bio below. (I also replied with Hawkpelt to that 'talking to myself' RP.)
Here's the link to his bio:
