ooc; fine by me. Sorry i haven't been posting as much. I have been crazy busy lately as it is my senior year... I will get better, promise. I am also trying as hard as I can to make sure Festival has a distinct personality.

    ic;

    Wow. His other sister was missing too? This was not good. What happened to the close family he used to have? Festival was a bit... sensitive. He didn't like to admit it, but he was. He felt like breaking down, but he looked away to keep himself from doing so. He had such an odd personality. Sensitively and hyperactivity all shoved into one body. Festival slept a lot less than the average cat and seemed to be always moving, whether it was tapping his paw or pacing. Currently, he was pacing. He took a deep, slightly relieved breath, as one of his sisters showed up. However, she was not the main concern. He loved her just as much as Fiesta, but Fiesta seemed to be in deeper trouble.

    ooc; sorry guys, I accidentally left my computer at home and I was gone for a week.

    ic;

    Festival didn't speak a word. What was happening to him? As the fiery orange tabby matured, he seemed to lose his energy he was so famous for. Was the situation just draining his energy, or was he really changing? He couldn't help but adore his family. Yea, his other sister was a pain. Actually, she was a bit of a b**ch. But, he loved her all the same. Arella seemed to have a hold on him though; yes, she was his favorite sister. He followed her, keeping his silence.

    Necropsy watched through narrowed, yellow eyes. Finally, he saw the figure of a cat get up. She was the she-cat, the mother. That was rather obvious. She seemed to be taking a break from her kits. Maybe she was going to hunt, maybe she was just going get a drink. To Necropsy, it didn't matter. It was time. Honestly, the tom didn't care at all how the mom would feel upon discovering her kits gone. In fact, if she came back during the kitnapping, he might even kill her. The father would have to be either captured or killed. That was not negotiable. Although Necropsy didn't mind a kill, he figured the father was pretty wimpy looking and might serve a better purpose as a prisoner to Necropolis. Flicking his tail to the other members of Necropolis, Necropsy crept up on the kits. The mother was long gone. Besides, with this wind, she wouldn't hear them anyway. Thankfully, the harsh breeze was blowing toward Necropsy instead of toward the nest of kits and their father.

    Necropsy had a plan. The first thing he would do would be to grab a kit. Once he threatened to slaughter the kit in front of the father, he would either fight or he would be captured. Oh, the power love had over cats. Necropsy was just glad he would never fall for that trap. He didn't feel love. To him, there was only the usefulness of a cat that mattered. The tom seemed to be dozing. Fantastic! This was working out wonderfully. Necropsy bounded into the nest and snatched the first kit he could grab by its scruff, hoping the other cats were either grabbing kits or watching the father.

    The father's eyes flew open. Tangleheart saw his kitten, Peregrin, dangling from the jaws of a massive black tom with haunting yellow eyes. For a moment, the tom thought he was having a nightmare. This couldn't be happening. No. No. Everything had been going so well. Frantically, he looked around for Smallfeather. She was gone. He had forgotten. She had left to go for a walk and hunt. Part of him was glad she was not here to be hurt and the other part of him was nauseous with fear. Maybe if she were here, they could fight off the tom. Wait, he heard other cats. This was NOT good. Smallfeather and Tangleheart had never finished their training before leaving their clans and had never needed to use their fighting skills. Now, Tangleheart hopelessly looked at his poor kit, dangling from the jaws of the devil itself. He just hoped the tom would not kill Peregrin.

    ooc; sorry I was gone for so long. i left my computer at my house and we went out of town for a week

    Festival had never tried catnip before. Sure, the tom was usually a bit of a coward, but the mix of grief from his sister, Fiesta's, strange behavior and even stranger disappearance had the tom on edge of insanity. The usually happy, insanely energetic, and happy tom was filled with grief and was rather silent. He was willing to do anything to stop it, including catnip.

    Festival was a rather young, handsome, but slightly girly tom. His orange pelt was fiery colored with white markings on his stomach and paws. Festival noticed cats having a party and he smelt the scent of catnip. Sure, he had never tried it, but he knew its scent. It was time for the young tom to live up to his name. Festival joined right in, inhaling the scent of catnip. Oh, did it work! His worries began to fade. This was great!

    ooc; I am guilty of not reading the previous posts, sorry... I am exhausted.

    ic;

    Festival, the young trainee, heard the hissing of cats and saw his fellow Elite-mates being attack by some strange cats. Fury raged within the tom as he looked around, hoping none of his siblings were involved in the battle. He would be outraged, devastated, and terrified if any of his family members were already hurt. Yes, the tom was a bit sensitive, but he was fiercely protective of his family.

    Crypt, a cat who normally thought physical fights were absolutely ignorant, could not ignore the battle. Sure, she thought fights were ignorant but not for the reason most would expect. She was not a friendly cat, there was no doubt about that, but she enjoyed mentally torturing others. Scars on pelts healed, mental scars didn't. Nevertheless, the ghostly colored she-cat was not about to let her fellow Elite-mates make fools of themselves. They seemed to need desperate help and Crypt had no doubt of her fighting abilities. Crouching behind a large,misplaced looking rock, the she-cat tactfully awaited a cat to pounce upon. If she would waste her time fighting, she was fighting to kill or maim.

    Crypt - Elite - Attacked by Kumara

    It was a great thing Crypt was observant. Otherwise, the attack by the caracal could have been devastating. It didn't help that the caracal loudly and blatantly bounded over to her. She had time to prepare herself just enough for her head to not be completely taken off. Crypt may be a normal cat and not a large caracal, but she was swift, smart, and fairly large for a cat. As the caracal aimed its blow, Crypt swiftly moved behind it. She felt its claws graze her cheek, surely drawing blood, but the wound was insignificant. She aimed a blow at the caracal, attempting to rake her claws across its spine.

    (no kill for either characters)

    Crypt didn't know the leader of the Elite. Well, she knew the cat's figure and her name but that was it. Sure, she never knew Capone either, but she had respected Capone. Why? Well, Capone had been a bit twisted like herself, and she was a blood relative.

    Because of Crypt's lack of knowing the leader, she didn't feel much respect for her yet. Maybe it would come with time, but the she-cat didn't respect much of anyone. Yet, she was willing to do something she considered so stupid in the name of her leader and the Elite. Maybe she had a bit of respect for Sorna after-all. Maybe it was just her respect for the Elite itself. Whatever the reason, here she was, fighting.

    Crypt saw a cat or two crouching in the shadows, not in the fight quite yet. However, the she-cat was way too proud to ask for help. No way.

    Crypt was a very thoughtful she-cat. Her brutality and coldness stemmed from her intelligent, well-thought out plans rather than sheer brute force and good fighting. However, fighting required quick-thought and not a steady plan. Dang.

    Her moment of thought allowed the caracal to grab hold of her ear, leaving a painful and physically damaging blow. God D*MN it! she thought to herself, feeling the blood well up at the wound site. Was a piece of her ear missing!? She was pretty sure it was, but she had better things to worry about at the moment. Well, he wanted to play like that? The ghostly she-cat lashed out at his eyes. His face was right in range after that attack on her ears. Hopefully, her claws would hit their mark and teach him a lesson. If not, she had more tricks up her sleeve. Crypt was not afraid to maim or kill. No way.

    Crypt-- Elite--Attacking Kumara

    Festival felt on top of the world for the first time in a while. The catnip intoxicated him, making him think crazy, happy thoughts. Ah, it felt good to not be worried. The fiery tom noticed a silvery white she-cat, and he couldn't help think she was some sort of beautiful ghost. Dang, she was pretty. Why was she soooo pretty... He couldn't help but stare...

    Festival didn't quite know why, but he felt impelled to talk to the she-cat. She was just so dang pretty! She was like the spirit of another cat come back or something... whatever. He was beginning to feel a bit dizzy so he didn't really know what he was thinking anymore.
    "Hi!" he mewed to her, barely moving from his current spot.

    Auza, a mere, naive 9 weeks old, felt like she had seen the world and lived through an eternity already. Little did the tiny, torbie kitten know, she had seen nothing yet. It seemed as if Auza had been born waiting, pushing forward, desperate to grow up. To impress everyone.

    Yes, it was true. The kitten who was a bit 'unattrative' with her head a bit too large for her body and her sharp features instead of a plump, round, 'beautiful' face only wanted to impress others. It was what she lived for. She longed to be noticed, appreciated, and loved. That was all. Little did her mother know, she had already been smart enough to hunt down her father and try to talk to him. Well, that was a disappointment.

    Maybe her mother had been right about Borderpaw all along. However, the torbie had been too stubborn to believe that. Heck, she wanted to be a stylist just like Borderpaw... well, Borderpaw WAS. She still didn't quite understand the details behind his demotion. She was, as stated before, a bit naive. She still didn't want to give up hope on getting her dad to like her. It would be difficult to maintain relationships with her father and mother when they bother hated each other's guts though. Besides, Borderpaw seemed to have other kits he cared a lot more about. It crushed Auza, who was so dependent on attention, but she didn't want to admit that. She would get his attention someday.

    Maybe if she became a stylist, the position Borderpaw had lost, he would notice her. Maybe. Auza, a mere 9 weeks old, didn't know if she had the talent for it. If only she had the chance to find out..

    She would worry about that another time. Now, all the kitten was concerned with was becoming a trainee. She had waited all this time. She just had to be a trainee already! She was done being a kit. No one in the Elite paid much attention to her and it was time to change that. She was so desperate to be noticed.. so desperate to be liked... She just couldn't wait until she was named a trainee.. Maybe it would be today. She surely hoped so.
