Dakota gasped and made her way in carefully. "I was hoping to do that without all the noise." Justin added with good intention. He looked up as he heard a scream once more. It was a girl. "We need supplies!" He yelled back, holding up his pipe. Dakota ignored them and she ventured inside.
It was a mess. Many food items were thrown about, crumbs, food, clothing and dead, mutilated people were laying randomly about on the floor. "Gross." She mumbled as she stepped over a body. The stench was horrible. Maybe this place wasn't so good for food resources, but maybe it was good for weapons and other means.
-
Oliver glanced at her from the side, grinning. "It's fine, but..." He replied slowly. "What do you mean?" Oliver had a seemingly innocent look on his face.

Dakota ventured deeper inside the grocery store. Almost none of the lights overhead worked, and the ones that did flickered on and off occasionally, the rest of them were just dim and glowing a faint yellow. Dakota made her way to the nonperishable food aisle- the one with canned food packed tightly and stacked neatly in colourful rows all along their white, metal shelves. This aisle was mysteriously cleaner than the others. The floor was clear and only one or two cans lay on the floor, their contents spilled. "Hmm." She began to slowly skim the aisle, looking for any somewhat nutritional food. By the time she left the aisle, she had an armful of cans. Dakota had found a shopping cart nearby and placed the cans, one-by-one, silently inside. Just then she heard a grumble from behind her.
Justin looked at Elizabeth with a guilty look as if to say sorry, and then he eyed the girl suspiciously. This was the one screaming her head off earlier? Finally, he took a careful step forward. "I'm Justin." He said. "We're survivors, none of us are infected... Are you all by yourself?"

Tyler smoothed his fingers through his hair with one hand as he started the car with the other. He exhaled and pulled out of the parking spot. " ...We're getting the paint and stuff, now... right?" Tyler asked, glancing at her. They drove slowly by an art supply store, Tyler was glancing inside. He saw the girl with long black hair and tan skin. She smiled at him with blood red lips as she stood eerily by the door, cigarette smoke billowing out of her nostrils. Tyler, with eyes wide, stiffly turned his head back straight and went down the nearest parking lot aisle as quickly as possible.
-
"W-what you just-" Clyde shook his head. "Nevermind, I'm probably just getting crazy." He said with a chuckle. "We're gonna go get herbs... right?"
-
"No, sorry I'm fine." He straightened up and parked slowly in an empty spot, not too far from the entrance. "I just- this girl was staring at me..." He looked up at the entrance and she was gone, but replaced by a store clerk who was smoking as well. This made his hair stand on end. What if it was just my mind playing tricks on me... and she wasn't there after all? He looked at Kyci.
-
Tyler's cheeks flushed pink at that specific remark. He opened the car door and stepped out of the car, locking it. "What... No, not just any girl. It was this one girl, her name's Sylvia... we have quite a past." He said, exhaling.
-
Sorry for the late reply... but yes? c: lol It's not really something you join, but you can jump in, if you'd like.
-
He laughed as well. "That's kind of hard to believe. We're pretty much strangers!" Oliver said.
-
Justin nodded. "They scared me and Dakota-" He looked around for his little comrade. "Hey... where's Dakota?" He asked, beginning to panic. He tightened his grip on the metal pipe and strode quickly inside the grocery store without a word to the others.
Dakota turned around quickly, reaching for her knife in her pocket. There was a tall, rather stocky man standing behind her, grumbling incomprehensible words. Sickly brown blood oozed from his eyelids onto the purple bags underneath them. His ugly face had countless scars and bruises upon them, and the clothes this infected man wore were stained with the blood of his many victims. Dakota hardly let out a squeal as she stared, paralyzed, into the face of this man. He swung a massive, swollen arm at the girl and knocked her straight into a shelf with countless food items stacked upon it. It landed with a great crash, and Dakota lay there, completely dazed. The infected man began to near her, drool dripping from the side of his mouth. She scrambled to her feet, stumbling back over the items spilled over the floor. As quickly as she could, Dakota pulled the butterfly knife out of her pocket and flipped it open swiftly. Even though the knife was small, Dakota knew how to kill with it.

Clyde shuddered then opened his wings slightly. "What should we collect- er- what do we need?" He couldn't concentrate. What Shiser had said- or thought- wouldn't leave his mind.
-
Tyler started walking and caught up to her. "Well, since i really trust you, I could tell you, if you'd like. It's not a big deal." He said as he glanced around suspiciously.
-
"I suppose. I mean, you did help me and all." He flashed a smile at her. "Plus I think you're awesome." Oliver's cheeks then flushed pink. That was lame... he thought.
-
Tyler appeared to be a bit confused. "Yes... yes you do." He said, grinning as the sliding doors that led into the store slid open, blowing cool, strong air into their faces. The air felt nice on Tyler's face. He quickly glanced around the store.
-
The infected man turned around, hearing the disturbance behind him. He growled, taking a step forward before the ax was thrown and lodged itself in his head. He stumbled backwards a few steps, holding onto the handle with one hand. Dakota scrunched her face up with disgust. The blood ran slowly down his forehead and splattered all around. Suddenly, she saw Justin come up and swing his metal pipe into the belly of the infected man. The man stepped back again, puking up rotten, smelly blood onto the ground below him. He suddenly seemed dazed, then yanked the ax out of his skull, tossing it on the ground beside him. The man groaned, then lunged at Justin, as he was the nearest target.
-
Clyde shook his head, refusing to believe this dragon's thoughts. But he loved honey. Clyde spread his wings to full length and took off past the forest, into this meadow nearby. He waited for Shiser to catch up, however, before he reached the end of the forest. The edge of the forest nearest the meadow was a great place to find beehives. There were flowers all over, so bees had good chances there.
ooc: I'm not sure if this makes sense. lmao

Tyler thought for a moment. "Well, for starters, she's mostly a stalker. I've known her my whole life, since we were kids. She's always had a crush on my brother, Logan, but he never liked her back." He sighed, following Kyci around. "She wanted a way to get revenge on him for 'breaking her heart' or something like that, and killed our parents, hoping that we'd come running to her for comfort or something. But we didn't. She hated that, and-" Tyler stopped there. He almost let something confidential slip. "And yeah... I don't really hate her, but she follows my brother and I everywhere... It's like shes taunting me or something. Creepy." He shuddered.
-
Oliver laughed a little. "Yeah... It's getting late." He said, looking at the ceiling.
-
"My parents pretty much ignored Logan and I, anyways." Tyler explained, shrugging. He already could tell that was the part she acknowledged the most."Well, I thought I did." He recalled the moment. "But she's sneaky. When I looked back again, it wasn't her, but a store clerk in her place."
-
Oliver smiled and nodded. "Sure." He studied her face, admiring her features. She sure is pretty. He thought.
