A third she-cat, Wolfheart, pads out of the bushes.
-
IC: Wolfheart comes tearing out of the bushes, scaring off several birds. "Help! I saw a cat being chased by wolves!" Her eyes fall on him.
OOC: what's your name? firestar?
-
Wolfheart padded out of her den. She began to wonder if she'd meet anyone today. Probably not. Every day, she'd met many toms, but so far none wanted to be her mate. But she knew there was one tom out there who was the one. And she sensed he was close by. The bushes rustled, and she spun around in surprise, fur bristling. "Who is it?" Wolfheart called warily.
-
A second she-cat emerged behind them. "Hi, my name is Wolfheart," she meowed.
-
Silverzephyr padded out of the shadows. She had beautiful silver fur, a lovely angled face, and pretty blue eyes. She, too, had experienced the fake side of love. "What's wrong?" she meowed to Padilin, noticing the tom.
-
Wolfheart allowed her fur to lie flat. "Oh, hi," she greeted uncertainly. "What are you doing here? You scared me out of my fur!"
-
Silverzephyr eyed him sympathetically. "You look sad. I can't stand it. I want to cheer you up," she meowed. "Want to go for a walk?" Her eyes glimmered with hope.
-
Wolfgaze sighed. Yet another mateless day, she thought.
-
Wolfheart's pelt prickled with self-consciousness. "Um, I was going for a walk. Do you want to join me?
-
Wolfheart noticed Bloodfang, and padded over. "Want to hunt with me?"
-
"The forest looks very beautiful today. Let's walk there," Silverzephyr suggested. She padded away about ten steps, then turned, inclining her head, and waiting for Padilin to join her.
-
Feeling a bit awkward, Wolfheart padded forward about ten steps, inclined her head, and waited for Rushtail to join her. "Er, let's go to the lake," she meowed.
-
She led him to the prey-rich part of the forest. She opened her jaws and breathed in the fresh scent of squirrel. "This way," she meowed, waving her tail-tip.
-
She walked side-by-side with Rushtail, feeling some strange emotion stir inside of her. She didn't know what it meant. As they walked, she snuck a look at Rushtail. He's kind of...handsome, she thought.
-
As they walked into the forest together, Silverzephyr felt an indescribable emotion well up inside of her. She was beginning to have old memories. Yes, when I first met my old mate, we walked in this very forest.
-
I wonder if he feels the same about me, Wolfheart thought, noticing that he was staring at her.
-
Wolfpaw decided to leave them alone. She padded away.
