He looked at the jockey, who had given up, and was sitting three tables over. -
He chugged his coat, then grinned.
"It's settled then!"
He grabbed a pen, held her hand, palm up, and wrote on her hand his cell number.
"Just call me after school, I have to work until five, and then at seven I'll come pick you up, just call me and tell me where your house is and where you wanna go, and I'll take you." -
